We stayed last week for the entire week. We explored Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas, including the mountains. The location is good. It is just off the main drag so you can avoid conjestion problems. It is about 500 feet from it, so wecwalked everywhere we visited in Gatliinburg. We drove to pigeon forge and into the mountains. The staff and the owner were great. The pool are and lazy river were ok. Need some updating/minor repair. The Hot tub next to the pool was very hot and
nice. The only issue was the breakfast. It was sausage, waffles, cereal, some pastries. No scrambeled eggs. Only hard boiled eggs. Those are great, but not for breakfast. Overall, the hotel and staff were great. I liked the location, but I did not want to be in the middle of the conjestion. I enjoyed being able to drive and miss the mess, yet but could walk and enjoy the main drag, which starts about 500 feet away. We have no problem walking.
