It is a beautiful place in the mountains of Gatlinburg. It is very big and they are still expanding. It is time share property and I guess if you can afford time-share, this would be a [place to consider.
The staff was very helpful in changing the room that had been booked by the agency we went through-It was suppose to be a two bedroom cabin and if not for the staff, we would have had to stay in one room together. (3) of us. However, the room ended up being at the top of their expansion site. If you got behind one of their shuttles or golf carts that were carting people around, it took 15 minutes to get from the gate to our room. Parking was also terrible there.
There are many amenities, but they all cost extra. Their food inside the resort was double the price of any restaurant. If you ordered from outside their place (to be delivered), you had to meet them at the gate as they were not allowed in. So that meant getting back in the car and driving down the hill again and back up, if you were staying where we were. The rooms were tiny,
no space to really put luggage, and they wasted a lot of space on doors.
It was however, a beautiful site(the mountains) coming down every morning.More
