Not a bad place to say but for the price you pay you would naturally expect nicer rooms. We stayed in a King bed thats closest to the main street. Balcony is very small but overlooks the creek and the tables at the restaurant next door. The water pressure was mediocre. There was not a globe over the light fixture in the bathroom so you had the light bulbs hanging out which was disgusting. Few places needed painted because they looked moldy or peeled. A deep cleaning and fresh paint and better shower heads would make a big difference here. Im giving it a poor overall rating because for the price i paid I shouldnt have had light bulbs hanging out and a moldy smelling room. I plan on coming back but will need to find a realistic price for the night in order to do so.

Room Tip: ask for a room creekside if your wanting to look at the creek from your balcony

Older property with office and main building located behind Howard's on the parkway. My room was in the Bon Aire building which is located up the hill beside Summit Manor Condos. Steep driveway, but they have an elevator that you can take down to street level. Room was nice enough with a good sized balcony. Bottom line I would stay here again the elevator makes it convenient to Calhouns Village, you get off right behind Cherokee Grill, and the Parkway.

The first room, besides being right next to a walkway being fixed a the pool filled with junk from the walkway (really disgusting) also had a window with a broken lock - on the first floor. When it could t be fixed, I got the room next door. That lock was broken too so eventually I got another room. This one smelled musty but I was too tired to request another change. Later I saw the iron burns and felt the sticky spots on the rug. The room really looked worn. The motel wasn't half full. Many parking spaces unused so why stick me in any of these old, tired, far away from the creek rooms?

Nothing fancy but everything was clean. We stayed in the building behind the main building which I wasn't happy about at first but we had a nice view of the Space Needle and mountains. The hotel was hosting a prom that night so we were probably very lucky to be housed away from the main building. We chose the hotel because of its price and were pleased with the value. The room was clean and comfortable with a good location. I will definitely consider staying there again when in Gatlinburg.

My husband and I recently stayed 3 nights here for our Anniversary. We arrived almost an hour early for check-in and were told our room was ready and we could go ahead and check-in. The front desk cleark was very nice and helpful, he told us that we could stay an extra hour after check-out time and if we wanted we could leave our motorcycle at the hotel and shop longer on the day we left. The breakfast was better than I expected. The room we stayed in had a jacuzzi and fireplace. The room was a good size room with plenty of space, it did look like some parts of the room could use a little extra cleaning but overall it was fine. It was in a great spot and very close to the shops and resturants. If you go you have to go to The Peddlers steakhouse....well worth it!

Made spur-of-the-moment reservations at this location so that we could be located in the end of the parkway closest to the national park entrance. We arrive two hours early of the 3:00 PM check-in but our room was ready. We were greeted by the general manager and quickly given our keys/cards. When I experienced failure trying to connect to the internet, the manager suggested I bring my netbook to the office so that he could assist me. I was trying to connect via FireFox, but was able to connect via Internet Explorer - great connection during our entire stay.

The room had a king bed, queen sofa, desk and chair, large screen tv, refrigerator, and a coffee maker, but the prime feature was the balcony. It was located above the creek with a view of mountains as well as the office and parking lot. The bed was very comfortable and the sound of the creek was soothing. Any noise on the parkway was muted by the water.

Did we enjoy our stay? Yes! The inn is located in the Calhoun Village area with several shops and restaurants just yards away - Chreokee Grilll, Wild Boar, Microbrewery, and Calhoun's. The tram to OberGatlinburg is located across the parkway and the convention center is less than 100 yards away.

Room Tip: Ask for a room above the creek.

There's nothing like arriving at a hotel, after hours of driving, To be greeted by a smiling face and a welcome greeting. Thank you Vincent! The hotel was nice, only 100' from the parkway, so you have the convenience of being close without the noise. Room was clean, had two sinks, which was nice, and a private balcony over the creek. All in all a good experience for an inexpensive room.

Room Tip: The rooms around the pool are small. If you need bigger, get a room directly across from the office.
