This hotel is in a great location and the front desk staff was very friendly, however that's the only staff I saw. The hotel is older and out dated which was not a deal breaker for us, because we had not made reservations and after several stops, we were thankful to find a vacancy. But when we got to the room the carpet had clearly not vacuumed (trash & grass clippings). The room smelled bad. The bathtub did not drain well, along with someone else's hair all over it. When I went to call the front desk I discovered the room phone did not even work. It was already late so I cleaned the tub & sinks myself, we touched as little as possible and left first thing the next morning.

We always stay here for the big New Year's eve party! It is a very easy walk to our favorite restaurants and to the party. Obviously it is an easy walk to all types of shopping. The breakfast includes eggs and is very good. The rooms are large and dated; but they are clean. This hotel has seen lots of use.

The only thing this Quality Inn has going for it is the location. We stayed in a room on the hill side of the property. The room was well worn, musty smelling and in need of a thorough cleaning. The room door was dented and bent on the bottom so much so that when we turned out the room lights the light from the hallway streamed in from beneath and around the door. The balcony door shades were translucent, which is not a bad thing until you discover you cannot turn off the balcony lights that are shinning in your face when you are in bed. But don’t worry about the bright room, the sagging bed will most likely keep you awake. Breakfast is the usual hotel fare.

We got a room on top of the hill. The balcony does not overlook the creek but really no view. The room was looking a little run down but location was great. I would not have felt safe walking down the hill to gatlinburg alone though. Breakfast was not very impressive

Room Tip: Ask for a room not on the hill

We love this hotel and have stayed before. This time lots went wrong, and while it was all eventually made right it was somewhat disappointing. The clerk walked around with a headset clearly having personal conversations while many customers waited. We had trouble with our air unit and then were locked out due to a front desk error. We think this was just a fluke and we will stay here again as the location is perfect. We had absolutely no problems last time we stayed and hope next year will be better than this one.

Quality Hotel and staff were fantastic. Great location. Extra large room with double balcony. Breakfast was good and coffee excellent. Nice sitting area with sofa and table. Wish we were going back in winter so we could use the fireplace! Beautiful view of the mountains and downtown Gatlinburg. Beds were comfy. Bathroom in our room was a little small though. Liked having a separate sink area however. Used the pool one day was very refreshing and clean. Air conditioning was working great - it was a hot hot week we were there. Teddy the afternoon/evening manager was amazing! Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: We stayed in the tower portion of the hotel, was very handy and the views were great! You get a bett...

Room was large and clean with private balcony. Staff was friendly and we were able to check in early. There was 5 of us and we had plenty of room with 2 queen beds and queen sleeper sofa. Location of hotel was great, about a block from the convention center in Gatlinburg so we were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. Would definitely stay here again.
