Tucked away off the beaten path but still close to town. An older resort but well maintained, lots of activities all week, should you get bored with Gatlinburg and theSmokies (really?). Indoor pool and hot tub in addition to outdoor. Would give 5 stars except bldgs 1,2,3 do not have elevators.

We have owned here for 8 years and we love it here, the location is great. The unit is perfect and with it being remodeled in the last two years it looks great. The staff is great here and the other available facilities are top notch. Every year we eagerly look forward to this one week.

We stayed a week in a 2 bedroom unit, exchanged through RCI. I had called ahead to request a view of the Creek that runs through the resort. Our unit was very close to the creek with a view of both the pool and the creek, which ended up being perfect. We could both see and hear the rushing water and enjoyed leaving our windows open at night. There was some noise from the pool, but hotel management did come by every night to make sure the pool was empty at closing, which was 10:00. We were in building 2 near the end of the building, (unit 222.)
We were very impressed when we walked in. The unit must have been updated recently, since a lot of the pictures I had seen prior looked nothing like this one. The cabinets and the furniture were a darker wood with granite counter tops in the kitchen and bath. The furnishings looked very new as well, including the two sofas and the bedding. Our unit had two floors with a large living room, kitchen, balcony, half bath, and dining area downstairs, and two bedrooms with two full baths upstairs. Both rooms had queen beds. One had a large Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and the other a shower. We could not have been more happy with the setup and condition of our unit.
The resort grounds are beautiful as well and exactly what we wanted out of a Gatlinburg vacation. The resort is off of Roaring Forks Road just outside of Downtown Gatlinburg. This puts you in a very peaceful area surrounded by trees. The whole resort seems to be in the woods. There are beautiful shaded areas to sit, including wooden "porch" swings overlooking the river. You can walk along the path of the river and even fish if you like. The pool areas have plenty of seating, shade, and BBQ grills nearby to grill out and eat by the pool. There are two outdoor pools, both with hot tubs, and one indoor with a hot tub as well. There is also a pool in the units that are on the other side of the street. We did not visit this one since it was somewhat out of the way.
With all of this, you are still only a minute or two drive away from being in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg or in the Smoky Mountain National Park. In fact, Roaring Forks road takes you right out of the park from an auto touring loop. The location to the parkway also puts you within a ten minute drive to Pigeon Forge as well, with easy access to many attractions including Dollywood.
We would definitely stay here again and in fact will probably make this our go-to resort for any future Gatlinburg vacations.

It is only a mile and a half east of town, but quiet and secluded. I has 9 buildings and a pool for each 3 buildings. The grounds are awesome with a babbling creek that runs thru the property. Plenty of activities on the resort. The units are a bit dated, but super clean and have been updated with new ranges and fridges. It appears all the units have a view of the brook!
The touristy town is within a longer walk, about a mile and half and the Smoky Mt National Park is 2 miles away. You will need a car for that, so grab a funnel cake in town before you explore one of the best parks in the nation. I would book this resort again!!

We are currently staying at Tree Tops and although a beautiful property and wonderfully pleasant service, the walls are super thin and staying on the first floor has been miserable. We are in building 1 in a two bedroom and are very happy with the layout and condition of our room. Check in was very quick and friendly with no pressure for timeshare preview. The property is beautiful, the creek running through the property is gorgeous, and the pools are great. While I am not normally a complainer, the constant running and pounding from the unit above us has been disappointing. The resort has been very responsive but there is only so much they can do. I highly recommend a unit on the top floor if you come here or stay somewhere else. This is certainly not the relaxing vacation we planned. Without a guarantee for a top floor room, I would not return. So sad because this really is a great place to stay.

We have stayed at Tree Tops Resort at least once a year for the past ten years. We have never been disappointed with this resort. Cleanliness is impeccable as well as resort itself. Two very nice and clean outdoor pools along with a heated indoor pool and hot tub. From swimming to racket ball courts to miniature golf, one would never have to leave resort!
