Our first night in Gatlinburg we stayed at the Royal Townhouse. What a dump! The next night we stayed at the Best Western Crossroads. We used a travelcoupon for $55. We loved our room. Very large room, clean, nicely updated. Refrig., clean, no odors, microwave. No bugs, good lighting, nice pool, easy walk to strip. Limited view of mountains, but at least a partial view. Night staff who checked us in was sympathetic when I told him about out stay at the Royal Townhouse and tried to make our stay extra accomodating. The lady who checked us out the following morning was very nice and helpful with directions. Overall, we are very pleased with our stay and will recommend to everyone.

We decided at the last minute for an over night stay in Gatlinburg. We had a hard time finding a room because of it being a Holiday. When we checked in and went to our room/suite it was pleasantly suprising. It had the biggest jacuzzi tub I have ever seen, a wonderfully comfortable king size bed. It was very comfortable and clean. I was so suprised! We will be back again! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!!! Loved it!
The only complaint is that the electric fireplace didnt work,,but we didn't really need it!

it was clean, close enough to walk to town, but didn't get any night noise.
the sheets were scratchy, if this matters to you. & and yes, it could be updated, but i don't stay for the decor.
the staff was very nice!

I am a Best Western Gold Club member and this was the worst Best Western of all my stays. The room was ok, the kin bed way too soft, pillows were ok. My biggest gripe was the bathroom. I was amazed. The toilet was in the tinest cubbyhole in between a wall and the sink. You literally have to "back in" to go to the restroom. It was awful!! With all the hotels in Gatlinburg, I would make this my last resort....

We were already in Gatlinburg was when we decided to stay for the night. This was the second hotel we tried for reasonable prices that was actually on the "strip." We were please with the price, the office staff and the amenities.

If we had to nit-pick, the coffee pot was nasty, but there were plenty of pancake houses around where we could get coffee! LOL

Very tatty hotel - needs a facelift. Handily located on the edge of town (you'd do better to get into town), everything in the room was decrepit - the carpet was worn, the lampshades had scorch marks (goodness knows how - the lamps had the dimmest light bulbs I have ever seen), the "heated pool" was empty. The restaurant next door does a great breakfast, though. For the price, Gatlinburg must be able to turn up better than this.
