Crossroads Inn and Suites
Ranked #29 of 77 Hotels in Gatlinburg
Reviewed 3 November 2010

My husband and I visit the Gatlinburg area several times a year and we love the Crossroads. The regular rooms are very nice and the jacuzzi suites are wonderful.
Our suite had a livingroom with a fireplace (seasonal) , table + chairs, sofa bed ,nice size TV , desk and the biggest jacuzzi tub I've ever had the pleasure of lounging in.
All the rooms at the Crossroads are roomy and comfortable.
There is a full bath right off the livingroom and a second one in the bedroom. The bathrooms are well stocked with plenty of decent towels, tioletries and ameneties. There was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was always good.
The bed was absolutely wonderful. Best matress I've ever slept on. The linens were soft and there were plenty of great pillows. There is also a second TV.
In the hall right outside the bedroom is a microwave, coffee maker and nice size mini fridge. All were clean and worked well.
The airconditioner in the livingroom could of been a little better but the one in the bedroom worked fine. ( It was 95 every day.)
The only thing that could be improved is the lighting. Especially in the kitchen area. There are plenty of lights but the bulb wattage is to low.
There were no noise issues to speak of and the internet connection was very good.
The housekeeping staff is very good. Every morning our room looked great when we came back from breakfast. Also...The carpets were clean. ( always a plus when you can walk around a hotel room in bare feet )
Make sure you use the 10% coupon they give you for the Atrium Restaurant. You won't be sorry. Great service and good food. We ate there every morning. The resaurant shares the same parking lot as the hotel. It was very convienient. The hotel does not offer breakfast but there is coffee in the lobby.
The location is great. It's towards the end of the main street so the noise and traffic are not as bad, but you are still in walking distance of most of the attractions. There is also a trolly stop right across the street. Pigeon Forge is only 15 mins away and you don't have to fight your way out of town to get there.
Parking is good and there is an elevator and nice pool.
Pricing for the dbl. queen rooms ranges from 59.99-99.99 but it's well worth it. I got a really good deal on the suite when I booked in April for Sept.
We recently tried a hotel in Pigeon Forge to try to save some money and even though it was nice we really missed the Crossroads and the Atrium. It's just a really nice place to stay.

This is an old motel-type hotel, but it is right on the main strip in Gatlinburg, near the attractions. It is in terrible need of upgrades in the rooms, but our room had a giant two-person jacuzzi tub in our bedroom. That was really nice after walking all over town all day. The room had a separate "living room" area with refrigerator and a microwave. The furniture is very old though - kind of scary :-) , but the price was $109 which I think was a pretty good price when you consider it's on the main drag, it was during the craft fair and fall leaf viewing time, and many of the hotels were sold out (that's why we ended up here). They do not provide breakfast but they gave us a coupon for 10% off at the pancake restaurant next door.

I think the room was clean...There is an elevator to the floors. It is an older establishment in need of upgrading. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but gives a 10% coupon for a pancake eatery across the parking lot. Gatlingburg was not what we expected so I can say I was disappointed. The AAA rates were okay, but I would look for another establishment if I ever returned to the area.

I stayed in the Best western Croosroads from July 28th to August 3rd 2010. I would be lying if I said the place was not in need of renovation but the staff I encountered & the guests staying on property that I met more than made up for it.

The rooms are a good size for the money & the staff that was taking care of my room care were EXCELLENT!!! Thank You Gail!!!

The pool was in good shape, the laundry room for guests was a bit smaill & the wifi gives you a little bit of trouble but you can connect & if you continue to have problems there is a computer on the office that is available for guests. Although there is no complimentary breakfast, there is the Atrium pancake house that is right next door that serves good food with good servce & a good staff. Overall my experience was very good.

this hotel was terrible, first they gave our room away which i had reserved weeks in advance but hey i could downgrade for the same price so i could smoke but without the whirlpool or fireplace. their continental breakfast was 2 tables and 2 chairs at each total of 4 with the motel holding over a 100 guest. the front desk wont be of any help either so dont even waste your time with them either. go stay at another motel not the twin islands either its owned by the same people. will not be returning

First time to Gatlinburg, stayed for a week, hotel was clean and located within walking distance of all attractions. Had a smoking room and was worried about lingering odors (wife doesn't smoke), but there were none. The staff was friendly, and very helpful, when asked about local attractions. I was very pleased with the pricing of the room. The room was decorated very nice, and comfortable, it had a seperate computor table and chair. The bathroom was very small, but they made up for that with an oversized closet, as compared to most rooms. Was very pleased with the hotel and staff and would recommend it to friends, and will also come back.

We recently spent a the weekend in Gatlinburg. The hotel was nice. A little on the old side but clean and nice. Our room was larger than we had expected. Although the bathroom was on the teenie tiny side, but you can't win them all! It's in a great location and we walked eveywhere instead of trying to fight the traffic to drive. Would def. stay there agian should we ever go back to the Smokies!
