“GREAT place Highly recommended”

Certainly one of the best place ever for a nice break away .... by yourself, with your family or even a group a friends. Less than two hours nice drive from Agadir Airport, The place, far from too busy tourisitic place, the guest house is a superb old french fort with a nice recent renovation who brang the modernity and keept the authenticty of the place. The bedroom are all very nice, confortable and very well decorated (I visited nearly all of them as I was there for a wedding!) Some have private garden, others private terrace... Amazing view on the village, small mountain & ocean (the village is only 10/15mn walk and the beautiful beach is only 20/30mn nice walk) You have a nice swimming pool. The food is nice & organic. The staff are discret, nice & efficient. Definitely a place highly recommended ! Nicolas N, french in Dublin Ireland

Room Tip: As I was there for a wedding, I visited nealy all the bedroom and They are all very nice & diffe...

The 3 Chameaux is really a fantastic location, the old army fort exudes a unique atmosphere and the heated pool is great. The staff was on average very friendly and helpful. However, we were disappointed with the food. The dinners were lacking in quality and variety, and the breakfast was very basic french, even no fresh fruit was offered. This could be the most stunning place to stay was it not for the cuisine and the overall lack for attention to details in the rooms and maintenance of the property.

The views are fantastic, the heated pool is very clean, refreshing and great for relaxing. The cuisine is top-notch...I was particularly impressed by the immaculate tanks in the kitchen where the seafood is humanely raised. The fish and crab were great. Jean Francois and his staff are incredibly personable and relaxed...very welcoming, indeed. Cannot recommend highly enough. Very accommodating for small children as well (though this does not imply any of the negatives of the big family-focused package tour hotels...like Sofitel, for example).

We stayed here in February with a small walking/cultural tour group, at the end of our trip. It was the only place we stayed with a heated swimming pool (very enjoyable), and a man came to light the fire in our room every evening, which we managed to keep going all night. Some people complained about the smokiness, but we loved it. The food and wine were excellent, but as we had prepaid the whole holiday, I don't know how "pricey" it was. The only problem was hot water. It was unreliable, and you could be scalded one minute and frozen the next in the shower! But if you want that sort of service, stick to the boring chain hotels.

Room Tip: Best rooms are 1-4, very spacious with balconies overlooking hills behind, and fireplaces.

This hotel is situated in a truly beautiful spot. There is a panoramic view over Mirleft and the sea from the terrace, and sweeping views over the hills behind the hotel. There is also a ruined fort 5 minutes walk from the hotel to explore.

When we arrived the owner and staff were excellent and provided us with a great choice of rooms at very reasonable prices. Our room was very spacious with lovely furniture and a great balcony overlooking the hills.

We were interested in surfing at some of the local beaches and the staff provided some excellent tips. One of the beaches that we went to was wonderfully secluded with a small surf school in one corner and no more than 10 people on a large beach.

The breakfast in the morning on the terrace overlooking Mirleft and the food in the evening were of a very high quality with generous portions.

All in all we were made to feel like Moroccan royalty.

If you want to pay as much as if you got to the Sofitel to smel the sewrage you are at the very good place.
I am a little bit exagerationg, it is actually a nice hotel, with some history and a nice view, but for the price I would better go to the Sofitel at Agadir. Of course, the people, who go there would probably not like to chil like a perfect tourist at Agadir but common for the 150euros a maison d'hotes??
In addation the owner of this place is a french and very arrogant one, he was so like a colonist, who leave there and is very present at the small but nice pool of the hotel which is right in front of his house. You can enjoy his strong presence..
Anyway, if you stay there, you will enjoy it if you let apart the terrible high price of the place. But try anyway to take just the room and the breakfast and avoid the diner.
It was way to expensiv for Morokko, where you should expect to dine in a very touristic place for 10euros (which is a lot). They ask for 25euros and impose the menu for you, and honestly was just ok.
Mirleft is a very nice little town, but unfortunatelly there is not much nice place with a honest price to stay. There are some budget but it's budget, and les 3 chameaux and the other hotel ask for the double price of their real value.
If some of you would like to go to plage blanche, I would suggest that you stay at Tiznit or Sidifni for a night reither than Mirleft, which you can visit, anyway.
And better go to Tafraout which is an incredible place.

Room Tip: They will at first show you as the last room the suite at the very end of the hotel, just say that y...

We had one of our best lunches here in Morocco. The service was really nice and went out of his way to give us a great time. The view is amazing too. The food was superb, high quality. And the wine was tasteful too.
