Wow wow wow on all levels...the Kasbah is gorgeous, the views, the rooms, the staff, the food, the attention and kindness to the guests...all fantastic!
The owner Agnes was a delight and could not do enough for us!
For sure we will be back!

We stopped off here on our way to Sidi Ifni on Boxing Day 2013 and met with Norman, possibly the most attentive and discrete hotel managers we've met. He showed us each room, served us the most delicious mint tea on the terrace and then left us to it.

We were the only guests staying so we had a choice of rooms and went for the African Room on the front overlooking the bay and with access to the large roof terrace.

That evening we caught the end of the days sun on the terrace with Norman bringing us the odd snack or drink (amazing homemade shortbreads). We also had the most delicious dinner cooked by the resident chef.

All in all a superb stay and unfortunately one night was not enough but other commitments meant we had no choice - A very special place.

Room Tip: The African Room was fantastic

Charles and his family took excellent care of us in this high-end villa on the ocean. The setting is unique and combines desert and sunshine with (almost private) beach and possibilities to surf, swim and enjoy. The Kasbah is beautiful and the personnel wonderful.

We went there with some friends (we were 12 persons) and we were supposed to spend 4 nights there.

The Kasbah is very nice and has a great view; everything could have been great but we noticed as soon as we arrived that the owners were unpleasant and completely rigid.

Instead of being nice to us and making us feel like home, it was all the contrary, we paid between 1800 dhs and 2000 dhs for a B&B which is enormous for the quality of the service there and still, we had to face unpleasant comments and comportments all day long ...

For exemple, the breakfast is very poor and everyday the same; they asked us for an extra 25 dhs per person for eggs... One of the owners told us that we should turn off the lights of the rooms not to waste electricity. One afternoon, I asked for bath towels because they hadn't been changed and the owner told me that they were all wet ... Isn't that the minimum we should expect from a Hotel?!!

The swimming pool was a little dirty and there were cobwebs in our room.

More over, We asked then to apply a reduced fare to have dinner there every night (we were 12) and they said no: it's 200 dhs / person per meal and we have to notify them by 2 pm so that they can go shop ... So we decided not to go for it.
The least I can say is that they are greedy and that they make you feel a very unpleasant pressure.

One night, we brought some sandwiches to the hotel and the owners started to literally insult us (knowing that the day before that we had dinner at the hotel so it wasn't an everyday thing):

" Do you think you're in a camping?"
" Have you no respect? Where do you think you are?"
" This is my hotel, I do as I wish and I am the one making the rules"
" We don't want clients like you and want you gone by tomorrow morning"

And I am quoting, no exageration at all.

So that same night, we all packed and left after dinner.

This is completely scandalous that the best spot in Mirleft, a jewel of Morocco is let to be managed by those people.

So really, even if the view is great, DO NOT go there because you will have your vacations ruined.

Perfect location of the Kasbah, just a few minutes from Mirleft. The House is perched over the Ocean. You have 360° view over the Ocean :-)! You can access to the beach in 2 minutes from the Kasbah. We were there in July, there was almost no one on the beach during the day. It was just fantastic.

The house itself is really really nice (we loved it!). Very nicely decorated. The staff is very dedicated; ie they were bringing us "Moroccan mint tea" every afternoon as we were resting at the pool. The pool is also quite big.

Rooms are spacious, well arranged (TV with satellite). And perfectly clean!

Last but not least, we had dinner there one evening. It is not cheap (we paid 28 Euro per person), but it is worth every penny! We had a fish soup which was delicious, then another fish which was perfectly cooked, then a very good desert. The service was excellent.

We also enjoyed chatting with Agnès, the daughter of the owner of the place. She was very kind and made us feel like at home!

We also stayed in l'Heure Bleue in Essaouira and in Villa des Orangers in Marrakech, but we have to tell you this Kasbah Tabelkoukt was our favorite accomodation during our 2 week trip in Morroco! Thanks to Agnès and her team!!

We can only recommend Kasbah Tabelkoukt. This is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the view :-)!

Regards, Xavier and Sébastien (Switzerland)

Room Tip: Choose one room with the view over the Ocean.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and every element from the room to the service was absolutely top class. If you want somewhere special to stay in the Mirleft/Sidi Ifni area, then this is it. The situation is another level compared to the other hotels/B&Bs in the area. The beach is almost always empty, and way cleaner than neighbouring beaches. The pool at the Kasbah is beautiful & the views spectacular. The staff were fantastic, from Agnes and Murrat steering the ship, the cleaners who never missed a trick (or a speck of dirt) and Rashid who's Morrocan/French culinary delights were fantastic (request the Fish soup-bisque style) with Aioli if you're around long enough, Yum! If you're looking for a special getaway on the Morrocan coastline you've found it.

Room Tip: Take the Africaine room, the best views in the house and direct access to a large shared balcony ter...

The kasbah is several kimolemeters south of Mirleft overlooking a beautiful beach. We were there mid Feb 2013 for a day. Stayed at the Africa room, which is the best room there mainly because of the huge terrace with an amazing sea view. The whole Kasbah (the rooms as well) is like a museum, full of very interesting items. The staff is very friendly and will treat you right. They were just three people and we were the only guests that day so felt like the whole place is for us. The dinner was traditional, romantic and delicious. The vine was superb. One of the guys came to our room in the evening and started the fireplace with some traditional instrument. It became a little smoky, but was very romantic. The breakfast was on the terrace overlooking the sea. They have a very well maintained garden around the pool. We were not able to try in as it was 20C which was cold for us. The water is the Kasbah seemed to be heated by the sun; early morning there was no hot water. The beach is 5 mins walk down the hill, it is big and there are just a few people there and some birds. The other area around the hotel was of no interest, it is very poor and this Kasbah is like an oasis. 20 km south is the beach Legzira, which is phenomenal.

Room Tip: Choose Africa room to get the best of it.
