“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2011

Just got back from a ten night stay at the new hotel at Rorke's Drift. Charles Aikenhead, and his lovely wife Mary, are doing a fine job with the project. Highly recommended!

As one of its first guests, I was hugely impressed by what this new and unusual hotel has to offer . It's potential to provide comfortable and affordable rooms and good food is impressive. Its location on the Buffalo River is stunning. For those interested in military history there can be no better place to visit the Blood River, Isandlwana, Rorke's Drift and the Ladysmith battlefields.
