I received a wonderful deal on the Hyatt Place in Greensboro and decided to give it a try. The website pictures made it look wonderful. Upon first view of the room, I was pleased. Unfortunately, this didn't last. The room had a terrible, strange odor that kind of smacked you in the face as you walked through the door. The bathroom had very little light. It was like showering in moonlight. There was just enough light, so that you weren't in the dark. The shower wasn't clean and the faucet had a hole in it. I was also sad to see there was no microwave, in the room. I checked in, after the appointed check-in time, and was told that this was the only room that they had available. So, switching rooms wasn't an option.
I did enjoy the extra space and the beautiful television, but overall I was just not very happy with my stay. I should mention though, that the staff was very kind. They were always there to offer directions when we needed them. I would consider trying this hotel again one day, in the future. Hopefully my next stay will be better.More
