Our second stay at a Hyatt Place and found them to be very consistent. Rooms are large with great TV's, free hi-fi. Also nice that they have some food items available other than breakfast. We were here just for one night on our way back to the Raleigh airport, so the location was great. The Japanese restaurant next door was pretty good. All in all had a nice stay.

The hotel itself was very nice but we did have a couple of concerns. First the pool we could not use it. Something about maintance then the breakfast was not that good. On Sunda which was Mother's Day we ordered waffles. No waffles with that being a graducation weekend from A&T and Mother's Day weekend. I would have thought that they would have been prepared for all of the people that were at the hotel. Not sure if we would go back to this hotel in Greensboro

After driving 13 hours we arrived at the Hyatt Place Greensboro to find out that the room we had already paid for was no longer available. They said they had overbooked. They gave us a voucher for a hotel a few exits away on the highway - it was disgusting and $80 cheaper a night. When we returned the next day to check in for the second night of our stay they were apologetic. They offered us a free breakfast. Honestly a free breakfast doesn't cut it in that type of situation. My husband requested a free night in a Hyatt to which they agreed. It was our understanding that this would be able to be used anywhere. When we got into our room at the end of the day the certificate was there, but it was for this specific location. Chances are we will likely not return to Greensboro so this of no use to us. At that point we couldn't be bothered to complain. It really is a shame as the room was very nice and the staff was quite pleasant.

Whether it was the HUGE television, the extra bar in room, or the sectional sofa, this hotel was very impressive for the price. When you compare spending the same price at doubletree, courtyard, or hampton inn, this is the obvious better choice. The beds were quality, but could use some attention, but the rooms were excellent. Even better was the breakfast. It took hotels a long time to figure out that they could still offer a free breakfast with other options to purchase. Overall good experience.

I stayed here for one night. It was close to my business appointments, convenient to visit with family for dinner, and the next day it was easy to get back on the highway and continue on my business trip.

Clean, friendly, good breakfast and plenty of parking. I would recommend. I thought it might be loud that night and hard to get to sleep with it being right off I-40, but it was surprisingly well-insulated.
