“Excellent Food / Good Price”
Reviewed 11 December 2012

Yes, and it is run by genuine New Yorkers. A varied menu. All meals are excellently prepared and well worth the value. If you can, save room for dessert, they are top of the line.

The place is a bit short on atmosphere - not the place for a big date or to impress a business client but the food makes up for it.

Friendly service. Stay away at lunchtime on Sunday unless you want to wait - it is worth the wait.

“Nice, clean, with wholesome food”
Reviewed 7 October 2012 via mobile

Discovered this place by accident while looking for a non-chain restaurant while heading north out of Greensboro on a Sunday afternoon it's in the corner of a shopping center, not visible from the highway.

It's called a deli, but is more a friendly neighborhood restaurant. Menu begins with appetizers (homemade chips, chicken wings, quesadillas, etc.) it moves on to a small selection of salads suitable for an entire meal. We selected from their wraps and were not disappointed. Mine was a Mediterranean wrap (grilled chicken, feta cheese, black olives, cucumbers and humus in a wheat wrap, served with homemade chips. In spite of being tasty I could only eat half, am about to finish it off for supper in a few minutes. Price was $6.95

My wife had an equally tasty chicken Caesar wrap for the same price.

They offer a range of beverages including bottled beers and fruit juices and sodas.

We will return! Too bad it's not more visible from the highway - I imagine many people blithely pass it by.

We were in and out in about 30 minutes.

“Good Food, Good Value, Friendly Service”
Reviewed 14 December 2011

This is one of my favorite lunch spots for deli sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs. Fries and onion rings are delicious.

Desserts, especially cheesecake, are outstanding.

“Slipshod and Disappointing”
Reviewed 23 August 2011

The sandwiches were overly long in arriving, even though the place was only about 1/4 full. I paid $2 for a side of "fruit," and got 10 one-inch cubes of watermelon and nine blueberries. The tomato on both halves of the sandwich had inedible centers of green stem an inch or more in diameter. The first thing we ordered was drinks, and I asked the waitress if they gave refills on soda. She said they did, but never returned to see if we wanted any refills, or, even to see of we were happy with the food, or needed anything at all. This place was NOT awful, but you can certainly get better food, better value, and better service at half-a-dozen other delis in Greensboro.

“A real find, delicious and plenty to eat”
Reviewed 16 August 2011

My husband and I were both getting our cars inspected at the auto tune place in this strip mall, so we just wandered around the complex and decided to stop here for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised! There were plenty of options to choose from (almost too hard to decide), and the food was delicious and tasted fresh. The chips were amazing! It was such a deal.
