Wow! Very impressive food tour with a great variety--Cheesecakes by Alex, Natty Greene's, Table 16, Loaf (what a great bakery!), Crafted (most exotic tacos ever), Smith Street Diner (BLT with smoked salmon!), Greensboro Children's Museum Edible Garden--something delicious to try at each stop. I've been to many food tours in NYC and this one stacks up very well. In most cases we got to talk to the restaurant managers/owners and you can certainly tell these folks have a passion for food. Very fun to talk to them and they were genuinely interested in our thoughts about the food. Jessica was a great guide and I learned so much about my hometown that I didn't already know. A fabulous way to spend the afternoon, and I look forward to doing it again soon.

“Delicious fun!”

We had a fantastic time on the Taste Carolina Tour. Jessica was a wonderful guide--funny and informative about both food and local history and architecture. The selection of restaurants was great and the personal attention from the staff at each was exceptional. Highly recommend!

“A great way to spend an afternoon”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

This was such a wonderful experience. We felt like VIPs since we just walked straight into the restaurant, the chefs came over and talked to us about their food and restaurant, and we got to eat amazing food and enjoy some fun cocktails! I am gluten free and our guide and each restaurant made it so easy to just enjoy the meal and experience without making me miss out on too much.
Jessica, our guide was awesome - very personable and attentive!

“Taste Carolina Gourmet Food Tours - Greensboro”

A fabulous afternoon walking with a great guide to eight different food places while learning about the history, architecture, and sites of this city, and getting to taste fabulous selections from the chefs. It's about a 3 mile walk, stopping at fancy and casual restaurants, a bakery, wine tasting, brewery, and a specialty dessert place. Spoke to chefs and owners who explained how everything is farm to table, made on site and/or locally purchased. This revitalized downtown area has museums, art galleries, live entertainment, antiques, one of a kind shops, and many, many eating places for all ages. We were really surprised how much there is to do in a small area. Easy parking or a short walk from the train station. Eight colleges in town add to a great energetic atmosphere.

“VERY Well Done”

Absolutely the best tour of the different cuisines, because of this tour I visited a few restaurants I would probably not have. Great idea, if you have the time to do this I recommend it.
