We go about once a year, and have found great consistency.
Pros: The performers have always displayed impressive talent. Being so close to the performance adds to the entertainment value. The Barn offers a variety of shows that changes on a regular basis, so there is something for most tastes. The quality of the food is pretty good for a buffet. Service has always been excellent.
Cons: Seating is a little crowded. Tables are for two or four persons, so when we had a group of six people, we had to sit at separate tables.
Pro or Con, depending on your outlook: This is a special event place for many folks, and a lot of time is taken by the emcee with chatter as the many birthdays and anniversaries are recognized. If you sit on the bottom tier, you are VERY close to the performers.

My wife and I visited the Barn to see Branson on the Road. It was a really nice buffet with lots of good choices. Anyone can find something they like. The show was wonderful and we both had a great time. We will be back.

The Barn Dinner Theatre has good shows for your enjoyment. It is a good change of pace from the normal. The food is about average and could be better, especially for the price.

The historic barn mixes a terrific buffet with great music. We were there for the Band of Angels country music show and it was outstanding. I can't get the songs out of my head. You can sit close to the action in this compact venue. I'm a Yankee and not typically a country music fan, but this was a blast. Kudos to the cast of characters and musicians. Service was attentive and food was tasty and ample. The only downside was seating was a bit tight, but not a big problem. Looking forward to my next visit!

We went to the Barn Dinner Theatre in Greensboro on Saturday night to see the production "Band of Angels". I must admit, I wasn't so sure when it was suggested and the tickets bought but am glad we went! Used to go to the Barn in Roanoke back in the '70's when they were a chain spread across the country. This is the last one left! They announced this was the start of their 50th season! The buffet was good and plentiful. The seating comfortable. Theater in the round so there really wasn't a bad seat in the house. The actors did a good job presenting each of the country music singers represented in the show. All in all, it was a fun night and I am already planning to go back again!
