The hotel is hard to find, it is behind a main restaurant (in a separate building) by the main road- sort of like a compound. Maybe 25 minutes from the airport. They do have a shuttle but didn't use. Surrounding the area apart from the large Chinese restaurant (in which the photo displays) there is nothing close by to walk to.
The Room, oh dear. I paid extra for the deluxe room (£30 per night). This was their best room and it was tackiest smelliest room i've ever stayed at. Deluxe room is basically a Chinese lover room, with a round bed, very firm. two pillows. Weird red flashing lights and a round mirror on the ceiling. Yes a mirror on the ceiling. There is a computer desktop and a cable for internet, and a small TV with no options other than Chinese. The bathroom looks terrible and I didn't feel comfortable in there. Rusty pipes with sink water spraying out un evenly and the shower head is over the toilet seat rusty and dirty. The bathroom smells and makes a lot of piping noise. The bed was presented clean but there is a damp smell in the room coming from the dirty over used and stained carpet. I had to even request toilet paper as they didn't supply, just a dirty hose. And every time I wanted to come out of room the staff would have to open the door for me because the door lock didn't work with any card other than theirs - quite worrying. It was so bad I just wanted to get to sleep as quick as possible and not think about where I was.
There isn't any facilities that I could gather, a sort of waiting area by the lobby and a small lake outside. The rate didn't include breakfast at the local Chinese restaurant which is what you will see on the professional pictures as advertised as the hotel. The corridor where the dreadful room was located, was also terrible, smells of cigarettes, butts on the carpet floor and very dirty.
Staff do not speak any English and just nod.
Overall I hope I get through this lifetime without staying at a similar hotel. So surprised that Agoda advertise this hotel on their site.
