“A beautiful house with a beautiful garden; perfect for bird spotting too.”

The house and garden just blew me away. My husband and I had all the space to ourselves and it was the perfect place to get over the jet lag. Watching the full moon over the lake in the back of the house was magical.

The garden is rich with flora and attracts a fair amount of fauna too.

Sangeetha’s paintings just bring an added touch of beauty to the house. It does not feel like a generic house but one full of character.

Prakash’s cooking is excellent. Kavita is a great help too.

The house would be great for a family of 4 or a group of friends (upto 6)

Too seldom happens that by arrival you mus take extra breath for enchantment.
I'm most happy to say that not the pictures, nor the discription gives the right figure of this villa.
Ashtonishing gardens with polymorphous flora and fauna was our every morning expedition.
The villa itself was architectonically a success. Completed with impeccable taste for decor, chosen carefully to fulfill Sangeethas astonishing paintings.
All the amenities of a five star hotel were available.
Now when we add Mr.Prakash's skills as master chef of Indian and Keralan cuisine, we are as close to perfect tranquility as possible.
We were truly priviledged to stay a week and surely shall return if only allowed.

“Perfection Achieved at this Private Paradise”

The house and property are stunning. From the drive in through the gated entrance, on the gravel drive lined with layers of vegetation, of many different textures, shapes and colors, with sunlight streaming in, we were led to the entrance of the house where the entire face opens up to the back waterways, a lush yard, and murders of crows cawing from every coconut tree top. The attention to detail in every room was equally impressive and we particularly loved the open skylights in each room.

Taken care of with warmth and thoughtfulness by Prakash and Kavita, my wife and I enjoyed a perfect stay. From the absolutely stunning, rich and subtly flavored dishes to the detail in flowers in vases and pots at every corner to the great advice on when to visit the local temple (we saw a giant elephant when we went!) to where to get an Ayurveda massage, we could have stayed content here for a much longer period of time.

We feel that the experience here is so much more than a houseboat can offer, and we highly recommend it.
