This site is truly amazing. I'm certainly happy to have visited it. It was better than I expected; the pierced Arabic calligraphy in the mausoleum was truly something special.

Found the way by googling for the monument after visiting the Barah Kaman in Bijapur, Ample parking space though access to the monument dint look good to me

INR 5 for entrance for Indians and INR 100 for foreigners, Still Camera charges about 25 INR

The surroundings & the walk to the monument is scenic....Beautiful monument ...Worth spending an hour , admiring the creation, relaxing & clicking pics

Nice place to visit. It has some paintaings kept under ground. There is no information written anywhere that it exists. Only some guide will tell you about it. If guide ask for Rs.20 to visit them do take an opportunity and visit it.

The garden is also very nice and clean. There is a charge of Rs.5 for inidans and Rs.100 for foregin people. Also if you have camera, video recorder it will cost you Rs.25 extra.

It is called the black Taj Mahal.
But it is no Taj Mahal, it misses the wide gardens and water parties, and the effect of sunrise on the dome.
That does not prevent the two main monuments, the mosque and the mausoleum to stand by themselves, with elegance and character.
The main reason to visit Bijapur.
