Great place, rooms with great views.
Outside bathroom was beautiful.
Couldn't recommend eating there, meals were dodgy and breakfast very basic.
Isolated place, found out on the last day we could of got pick ups from local restaurants for tea, would of made our trip more enjoyable to eat out with having a pick up service.
Snorkelling off the beach was a great experience too.

Stayed a few times in the beach side villa's. Million dollar views. Lombok is only visible at sunrise then the humidity hazes over. Smooth water, great diving with the Eurodive guys next door or snorkelling or going for a sail on a fishing boat. . Organise the staff to take you to restaurants or call direct. Most restaurants in Amed pickup. All the Eat, Pray, Love you could ask for.

Room Tip: Book the Beach side Villa's that sleep 4 people if you want the best views.

We stayed three nights, room 34. We chose to stay in Amed for a peaceful relaxing getaway and to also enjoy the sights of the daily fishing village life. The room was more than adequate with a massive and memorable outdoor bathroom and each cottage had a hammock outside. Thoroughly enjoyed being right on the beach to see the fishing boats going out and in each morning and evening which you could even do comfortably just sitting in the dining area if you didn't want to walk out onto the beach. Had a wonderful and highly recommended eggplant stuffed calamari and vegetables at their restaurant. For two mornings we had a buffet breakfast which was due to them catering for a tour group. Our last morning we had an even better breakfast off the menu Bubur Ayam (chicken rice porridge) and Patatas Bravas.

We stayed for 2 night's and were happy with our villa, outdoor bathroom is huge and bed was clean and comfy. Breakfast was super basic.
The only thing that bothers me was the people selling stuff and tried to offer us many things everytime we were chilling at the porch, since our unit was right in front of exit to the beach.

Rooms are nice and clean but the huge and loud fridge near the bed prevent from sleeping, location is good on the beach, pleasant water. General rooms are too close to the road, so you will enjoy road noise and party sounds from Wawawewe club opposite to the hotel. Food is average. Breakfasts included in the rate are super poor, all they serve, butter, honey, bread are the cheapest from the shop. Fruits are only watermelon and ananas. Does not worth money they ask for night stay. Will not come back even for free.

Spent a week in Coral Villas in May 2014.
Not flash, but boy is it in a perfect position and the food is really fresh and wonderful.
Very inexpensive, wonderful staff who will go out of their way to make you comfortable and happy.
Comfortable rooms, clean and cleaned to perfection every day.
You pay street prices for all the little things you need (water, motorbikes, snorkelling gear etc...)
It is right on the sand (well black stuff anyway!) and a short waddle to the sparkling clear water with abundant coral reef and amazing fish life. Would not be further than 20 meters from breakfast table to water.
Being the last resort on the beach you also get the feeling of having it to yourself because there is nothing between the Villa and the rocky lookout to get a superb view of the little bay.

Room Tip: There are two rooms on the beach with up/down beds. We chose the rear room which is upstairs and cat...
