“Beautiful Property and Bungalows”

My friend and I stayed here for several nights in the bungalows facing the pool--which I highly suggest. They have a loft and easily fit two plus friends traveling together. Although Ahmed has a rocky beach it is still good to hunt for shells and watch the sunset and rise. it's a lovely area that we stumbled upon with a little guidance from our research. We didn't want to stay in a beach area that was loud and overrun with obnoxious drunks. Ahmed was quiet but active. There was plenty to do if reading, yoga, snorkeling, diving, and swimming are what you daily aims are. The Tradisi restaurant could have been better but over all I felt that was the case in Bali. I certainly didn't go to Bali for the food, but….it could have been better even though that wasn't their specialty. It was, meh. Our room came with a mini fridge, but I also thought it should have had an electric water kettle. Please provide them in your rooms soon. The staff was genuinely friendly. We had a bit of a mix up with the bill but everyone saved face in the end which I applaud the staff for their negotiating and customer service skills. We took a fast boat over to the Gili's one night and the staff was gracious enough to store some of our belongings until we returned. They were very trustworthy. I recommend them and hope that you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Room Tip: Choose a bungalow in front of the pool. There are only two.

Stayed here with my husband and young son for 9 days, in a beach front villa. It was a very quaint but comfortable place to stay. The bed was comfortable. Upstairs loft with 2 single mattresses on the floor and a small balcony. Outside bathroom in the room was a great feature, Menu was limited but perfectly adequate. Breakfast of Bali coffee and banana pancakes with honey was perfect for our needs. There were many great eating choices nearby within a short walk. A lovely clean pool. Helpful staff who were friendly and not in your face. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Amed is a long way from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. About a 2 hour dive but lots to see and take in as you go past Tirta Gangga and the volcanos. Diving was wonderful. My first time and we travelled to Tulumben and dived at the US ship wreck and had a glorious time.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back, on ground floor may be the least disturbed by noise. I enjoyed hearing the waves...

There are a lot of good things about Tradisi - good location (within a 5 minute walk along the beach to the main snorkeling area in Jemeluk, which is the best spot for it in the area), nice large rooms, beautiful garden setting, handy to other restaurants. Unfortunately, Tradisi really falls short on the value for money side. The food in the restaurant is very mediocre. They don't provide any drinking water in the room apart from what is being sold in the mini-bar; the room comes with only two towels; the sheets on the bed were threadbare and the quilt needed a wash; the breakfast is pathetic (one dry piece of toast, 1/3 cup of scrambled eggs, no refills on coffee or tea). None of these things would be such a drama if you were being charged sub 500,000Rp, but for the 800,000Rp we paid we felt it really fell short compared with what else you can get in Bali (we've spent a month here, and have traveled to a few locations). It's a real shame, because the owners have obviously tried to build a quality resort, but they are just not delivering on the finer touches to be good value at this price-point.

Room Tip: Do not take villa 5 (which is the top half of one of the cheaper room options at the back of the pro...

We stayed here for 10 nights in April.
We wanted a totally relaxing and quiet holiday and Tradisi was perfect for this.
The staff were all friendly and willing to help. The place was spotlessly clean and this was maintained throughout our stay. We had a beachfront villa and were lulled to sleep by the sound of the sea each night. The menu was small, but meals were very tasty and there are plenty of wa rungs within walking distance.
Loved the partial open air bathroom. There was always plenty of hot water and the air con and other appliances were all in working order
We could walk a few steps from our villa and snorkel in the ocean.
The pool was great and kept in immaculate condition as was the garden
We had intended to do day trips to Ubud and Mt Agung but so enjoyed relaxing round the pool and on our balcony that we never did .
This is a three star resort so you don't expect all the luxuries of 4-5star places, however it was excellent value for money and I would recommend it to all. We will be back

Room Tip: BeachFront Villa 1. It is at the end and no-one walks past it
