“Best people we met in Bali!”
Reviewed 9 July 2013

We originally planned to stay with my partner Alex for 1 night only(May 2013) and then continue up north but end up staying for 4 nights. The reason? We enjoyed the company of Emma and Dilly soo much and just loooved that place! We felt like old time friends and had super delicious BBqs, fresh fish, went out for some dancing and live music every night, had a great advise on the local area - where to go and what to do. I love the design of the bungalow - simple, traditional with beautiful bed and located in the middle of rice fields with the view of Mount Agung. And it has all you need. We will definately be back! Plus we had a privilidge to meet Emma's parents that are just really amazing, funny and social people that made our trip even more enjoyable. And I can't miss the best highlight -local big boss Dilly! ;) Thanks for everything and see you next time! X

In amongst the rice paddy's with views of Mount Agung, just before hitting the main drag of Amed. This homely little place run by Dilly and Emma, is a great place to stay. I had 4 nights here and another 4 after getting back from the madness of the south. The b-b-q was hot, fresh fish aplenty, with a taste of the real Bali. My room was fresh and clean with a fan, a good sized bed, en suit and veranda. When the b-b-q wasn't fired up the menu had plenty to choose from, the campur worked for me. I shall return.

We stayed at Dillons for 16 nights in June. The staff were really friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The setting is lovely overlooking the rice fields and the imposing Mount Agung! The rooms are a nice size with plenty of hot water and the gardens are really lush. Emma and Dilly the owners are really friendly and Dilly does a great BBQ, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

stayed here for 1 week in May, had a fab time, staff and owners very friendly, as mentioned by other reviewers the gorgeous 'big boss' Dillon is such a cutie pie.
i hired a bike for our stay really cheap prices and a great way to explore the area,
i ate from the BBQ menu nearly every night, the fish, prawns, chicken kebabs were all great, also the chicken tikka kebab yummy.
the rooms are nice. i did think it was a little hot which i mentioned to the owners and straight away they got me another fan.
I will defo be returning here. hopefully next time stay in their Deluxe Joglo (javanese wooden house) which should be ready in a few weeks.

Room Tip: Get the Deluxe Joglo when it is finished, the photos i was shown look amazing!

I recommend Dillon Bungalows! Beautiful views of Mount Agung. Delicious food (the best in the Amed). Very nice and friendly owners.
The rooms, clean, with a comfortable bed and a mosquito net. Wardrobe, toilet and fan (You can ask for extra one if need). You can use the fridge from restaurant as well. Any way it was really nice place to stay!. K.

This was our 2nd visit to Dillons & again they didn't disappoint. We were fortunate to be welcomed by the Balinese owner Dilly, his English wife Emma & adorable son Dillon....such a cutie!
Dilly procured a rather fresh (still flapping) & large Snapper which he offered either in traditional Pepes Ikan (a personal favourite of mine) or grilled (a house specialty).....I have always taken the view that if the Boss recommends it then you order it so grilled it was & I can tell you is was delish.....as the Indonesians would say....Enak Makanan...delicious food! A status rightly deserved at Dillons.
Oh & they have 3 cute bungalows & bloody cold beer....go for a drink & stay a few days.....will not disappoint! They can organise transport...air conditioned car or motor bike hire....be a devil, go the bike hire!
We have bought 2 groups of guests here during our 2 visits & all concur.....we'll be back.....
Good on you Dillons!

We had lunch here and ate an excellent Mie Goreng with fresh tuna which had been caught on the morning of our visit. Can highly recommend the restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and made our visit a pleasure.
