Owner description: The former royal palace of Tirtagangga (which means water of the Ganges, Hinduism's holy river) features tiered fountains, gardens, and stone sculptures of mythical creatures spouting water into bathing pools. Just outside the palace grounds, the views of the lush rice paddies of northeastern Bali are stunning.

“A very beautiful and special place.”
Reviewed 26 November 2011

A must-see when in Candidasa - only a 20 minute drive. And do take your bathers as you'll want to swim in the spring-fed pool - so refreshing. We had lunch in the new front restaurant and enjoyed it.

“The water palace is definitely worth a visit”
Reviewed 21 November 2011

The young traditional dancers were practicing on the lawn (4-5pm Tuesdays) so this added to its beauty.
