Superb location in the ever changing area of Kerobokan. Nestled amongst traditional and peaceful area. Convenient easy walk to modern eateries, coffee houses and new spas/salons.
Villa has a tranquil interior design. Staff are friendly, discreet and helpful. Really enjoyed the sun on the pool all day and having the resident frogs come out into the garden each night to greet us.
Sandra the host is very helpful and shows much love for her property. Thank you for the information folio and appreciated the little tips of local knowledge. Looking forward to our next say at Villa Darshan.
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Darshan, unfortunately having to cut the stay short due to issues surrounding the unsettled volcano. Sandra was in touch with us during our stay to ensure we were fine and all was ok.
The Villa is clean and well maintained with a fabulous pool and courtyard. It’s located in a lovely quiet area, with a couple of cafes nearby. It’s about a five or ten-minute cab ride to other restaurants and bars – you do need to walk a little way to get a cab most times as they are few and far between on the road near the villa.
Unfortunately, on our first full day, the villa lost power and we went off to a nearby hotel for the night. Sandra was great about this and refunded the cost of the hotel. By the time we arrived back after a morning or pampering the next day, the power was back on.
The only suggestion I would make, and it really was only an issue because of the volcano, it would have been great to watch the TV for news updates. Although there is a smart TV, it isn’t connected to the internet or has an aerial connection for free to air channels. There was mention about a DVD player, although I never did find this – just the DVD’s available for watching which would have been fine if traveling with a laptop.
I would definitely recommend Villa Darshan
