This place is wonderful. Right on the beach with spectacular views. The pool area is spotless as is the service from staff. Food and drink prices are similar to a much lesser resort maybe because of its location nearby a cheap beach bar nearby but I can honestly say I will hate checking out tomorrow. rooms are clean and modern. Again staff are so friendly and helpful. Will be back as soon as I can and will tell my friends when I get back home. Ben Little

Nice hotel with a spacious garden area directly on the beach. It needs some touch up to be a real 4 star hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious clean rooms. Breakfast buffet was OK. Some more choice (Cheese, more fruits) would be a real upgrade.
Pool appears large but a big part is too flat for swimming. Afternoon occasionally some mamut loudspeakers have been built up near the pool and music by a so called DJ was presented for an hour. Result was that many people left the area. Presume this will be adjusted to guests demand. WIFI in public areas worked well. ATM, some minimarkets and plenty of restaurants near by. Will stay there definitely again at an acceptable room rate.

There isn't much to say that is too positive or too negative about Grand Balisani Suites. It has a big resort feel with pretty good service without it being personalised. We stayed in a standard room which was good but nothing outstanding. While located on the beach, the beach still feels a distance away, especially as many of the rooms are on the other, non-beach side of the resort grounds. Grand Balisani is also located a distance away from the main Seminyak streets which has its charms but can also be a hassle if you're looking to head to/from the shops and your accommodation a few times per day (although taxis are very cheap). The pool area is fine but nothing to write home about. The breakfast was fine, but nothing to write home about. For the amount you pay, you could probably find better value for money accommodation elsewhere in Seminyak, which is what we'll be doing on our next visit.

The photos don't do justice to how beautiful the grounds are -the pool is amazing with a sunken bar and a huge carved stone turtle, massage was available and it was great lovely dark cool rooms away from the noise of thw pool and the girls are very good - oh and theres a a beautiful elevated small pool - you can be served gorgeous cocktails and cold beers as the sun goes down and you get a fabulous view - the sunsets were amazing with the trees and sea view - the food is great steaks, pizzas and asian cuisine all of which were great - the room was very nice and although we tried many places for lunch etc we often found we preferred the restaurant at the hotel :-) if you take a short walk down the beach to the left you will quickly reach some of the seminyak hot spots such as potato head etc - we loved it so much we changed our flight to get another 2 days

This was a great hotel just north of seminyak. Excellent service and lovely rooms. Pool was great for kids and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Taxi into seminyak about 30000 rupiah, so very easy to get around.

We decided to travel to Bali for a week with my mom, and we chose this hotel because we wanted something that does not look "European"... We were pleased. The staff was incredible. Nothing was impossible, so nice all the time. Like nowhere else I've been before, even if it was a 5 star hotel. The food was good, nothing surprising, usually repeating every two days. Super clean, they would run around and clean all the time. The spa... Well, the spa was the only weakness. I would very much recommend not going there, I know the price is very low, but somebody would constantly come into the room, the girls would talk very loudly in the hall so you can't relax, the music was very loud and the massage lame, sorry. I went to Body Works several times for a massage and wrapping - like 15 min by taxi from the hotel, and it was the best massage I have ever had (do not go there for pedi/mani though... They do not have the American/European standard) ... The pool had a good temperature, not that many children - but still some... And many Russian guests, and I am very sorry, but it seems to me like the Russian kids can do whatever they want... :/ It is located just on a beach, which was great, but we were there in a stormy/rainy season so the beach was full of little branches etc. due to waves. I asked and outside the rainy season it is clean. So very much recommended :) We are Czech/Dutch and all the staff spoke very good English, not well German or Russian. 5/5!

Room Tip: Get an upgrade for the garden view! And for couples- the bungalows are amazing :)

My husband just stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The first room had a broken bed and was full of mosquitos. They moved him to another room, this time the airconditioner was not working. After trying to fix it for 2.5hours they moved him to yet another room. This time at 9pm when he returned to his room after a long day, he found that the fridge had not cooled down and all his drinks were hot. He called reception and they sent up 2 cold bottles of water which he was charged for. They didn't return to fix the fridge until sometime during the next day whilst he was out. Also the balcony door was held shut by a peice of wood across like a bar with a gap in it. Not very secure. The breakfast was disappointing, the bacon was dry and shrivelled up at 7.15am. This hotel is right at the end of the road along the beach front. Its ok if you want to be isolated but if you want to walk to a shop its about 1.5km walk to a "K" shop and theres really no pub to go chill out in. Oh yeh and he had to keep unplugging the TV to charge his mobile phone because there was only one plug in the whole room. We've been to Bali many times and I wouldn't stay here again.

Room Tip: No lifts in this 4 storey hotel.
