Picturesque is the word that comes to mind, the gardens outside the villa rooms are just beautiful. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat away from the bustle, then this is the place for you. The rooms are cosy & dark for a sleep in after a night out. Price is good value with a good choice in the included breakfast. I have to admit to being so relaxed I didn't get the time to visit the spa nor take advantage of the included free massage, but friends have been very complimentary. All in all, a great place to stay!

Room Tip: Ask for rooms toward the back (2014, 2015, 2016) it means things are a bit more private as other gue...

Very friendly staff and clean completely acceptable place to stay. Bathroom was huge and included a small kitchen if you wanted to cook in, which is a nice option. Free breakfast was great. I would recommend this place if you're on a budget trip to Bali or perhaps staying a few weeks. I went over to the W hotel next store and clearly there is no comparison, but a 2 week stay at Putu Bali is maybe the price of one night at the W. So, if this hotel is in your price range it's highly recommended as a good deal for the money paid. I enjoyed the location - spas, some shops, places to eat within walking distance, but it depends what you really want to be near in Bali if this will suit you. Indeed, internet was slow - but it was also free. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Great beds, air con, outdoor bathroom with wonderful shower. Cool Danish pool bartender and a nice, deep pool. Awesome included breakfast, decent eggs benny and buffet. Friendly staff.

But slow internet, and not my fav location.

We were staying there for one night in room 2005. For the price at low season, this accomodation is just nice and worth it.
The bedroom was a bit narrow but clean with mosquito net which is needed due to the open bathroom.
Large bathtub ! We loved it.
The kitchenette and mid sized fridge makes me feel like home. I noticed they wrapped the knife, forks and stuff with plastic, so at least they give attention to the hygienic importance.
Breakfast was fine.
We managed to go round and the pool seems a bit neglected.
Though the staffs are friendly :)

Me and my girlfriend stayed here second part of hour holiday. I usually dont write review like this, but I will try to write pros/cons:

PROS
1. Staff were super friendly!
-we needed to check in earlier, because driver was waiting for us for the tour, there were not any problems
-I had problems with the safe, staff came immidately, solved the problem
-last day we went for diving, driver was supposed to pick us up at 7:00, same time breakfast starts, they were willing to make us breakfast 15-20 mins earlier
-when we checked out, we asked them to keep our bags at reception for 3-4 hours because we had that much time before our flight so we could walk around a bit and have a lunch
2. Cleaniness
3. Price is reasonable
4. Room service was good
-we were dead after diving and although we wanted to go out for a dinner, we couldn't move so we ordered room service. It was more than expected

CONS
1. TOILET & bathroom
- thing that I mind them most is toilet bowl leaking. Floor in toilet was wet, and noone informed us beforehand. You dont know what is worse - stepping into it barefoot or with flipflops. Also, bathroom is nice, outside, but one cannot get rid of feeling that someone can watch you from the windows of building next to you or ladders that lead to its roof.
2. pool
-we wanted to have a swim in morning (around 9 am) in the pool but decided not to, as it was full of leaves, as well as pool area, and seemed not clean
3.noise
They had some construction going on (gym), and I understand, we were offseason. This one didn't disturb me in particular much, because every day I was up and running really early, and I would leave hotel after breakfast and come before evening but probably lots of people were disturbed/would be

Overall rating is very good only because of friendly staff. Maybe other rooms (toilets in particular) were better, we were just unlucky.

Room Tip: Avoid room 1002 (dont know if the number is right, but its second villa on the left)

We have previously stayed at traditional Balinese Bungalow style hotels in Bali and Putu Bali ticks all the boxes that satisfy the requirements. The staff where friendly, attentive and helpful. The Hotel facilities were typical with room size and private outdoor shower facilities generous. The pool area had limited spaces for lounging but was not over taxed so we enjoyed our private pool area very much. The gardens and water features were excellent and well maintained. The Hotel is showing the signs of age and at the time we stayed in Late September 2013 the Bar/Restaurant/Entertainment area at the front of the Hotel was under construction but caused minimal issue for holiday makers. The immediate surrounding area sidewalks in Seminyak was also in the construction stage and extra care was needed walking around to the local attractions, shopping or the accessing the beach. Overall we had a great stay and would certainly return for a future visit. We rate Very Good to Excellent.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms can be subject to excess noise from adjoining building car park - try to choose a vil...

Have never given a negative review for any of the places we've stayed in before, this is probably a first. But let me start with the good stuff first:

The outdoor shower and bathtub was great, very romantic. Its the biggest bath tub i've seen in the (limited) places I've stayed. The room was pretty nice, and the bed comfy (though the nettings in the bed had traces of dirt and dirt and some holes). Breakfast was not too bad - they prepared it hot for you from a menu. Though the options were limited for muslim guests. But their (small) buffet spread has to get better - same stuff everyday and at the very least, a toaster?

The Bad:
1) All the websites said they had a fitness room (and we lugged our workout gear there), only to be told when we got there that it was not ready.
2) They didn't show the big Liverpool Man U game at the hotel and couldn't direct us (correctly) to where we could catch it.
3) Staff were polite but not very helpful - quick to say machines/phone out of order.
4) Promoted the costly external spas (60 over USD) when we could it for 20-30 easily if we searched on our own. Even their in house spa was cheaper.
5) Could walk to the beach but the area nearest the hotel could not be used for swimming as it was put off for some hindu customs
6) Really long walk to Seminyak square (which didnt have much shopping to do) and other shopping facilities

The next time, would stick to a place in Kuta or Ubud. Kuta was happening, and Ubud was very serene and beautiful.

Room Tip: there were renovations going on, so we stuck to a deluxe room at the end of the villa. was quiet and...
