“Worth a look at”

I stayed here with my mum in July and we really enjoyed our stay. Great location, friendly staff and a beautiful, quiet hotel. They have a very welcome no under 15s allowed which meant the hotel was always nice and quiet. A great place to return to after exploring the surrounding area. Rooms are great (we were in a luxe superior) and were very comfortable. The pool is small but the hotel has only16 (?) rooms so it was never busy and was the right size for the hotel. Is definitely a hotel I would return to.
We also ate at the restaurant, also called the pearl, which was absolutely delicious and a must whether you're staying at the hotel or not. Amazing food, exemplary service and nice atmosphere. High standard restaurant without the price tag. Thanks to the good looking French boys whose parents own and run the hotel, I had something to keep my eyes on throughout dinner;)

My daughter and I have recently enjoyed 3 nights at The Pearl. The little French run hotel oozes charm (and that's not just the staff )and ambience and we felt so welcome and comfortable here. Its a no frills hotel but so full of character and has a lovely shabby chic style.Breakfast was included and was more than adequate. The location is fabulous, close to everything we needed and it was always a pleasure to return after our wandering each morning to plonk by the pool and enjoy the lovely shady garden and the company of Pearl the bunny and other guests. We ate at the restaurant one night and that was amazing-the food, the service, the twinkly lights under the trees all contributed to a wonderful experience. We loved the Pearl and can't wait to return-its on the list for next time! Thanks to Anthony and all the wonderful Pearl staff-you are well deserved of the excellent reputation you have earned.

Amidst the chaos of Legian, the French-run Pearl is just that - a gorgeous treasure. Simple but spacious, stylish and cool rooms nestle in beautiful gardens around a sapphire free-form pool. Shaded Balinese daybeds are piled with cushions for an afternoon snooze or pre-dinner cocktail lounge. The staff and owners are all delightful - especially Anthony, Ayu and Martini. The biggest and most pleasant surprise was the exceptional food in the restaurant. I had recently had dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Aix-en-Provence which failed to come near the Pearl in almost every respect (except the wine list, which is understandable) and cost four times as much. Our dinners were superbly executed and presented, the service couldn't have been more charming (unlike Aix) and the setting on the terrace under fairy-lit trees was enchanting. I don't think I have ever had such a quality meal for the price. The hotel's location is also great - tucked in a small courtyard about five minutes stroll from each of the beach and the wallet-emptying temptations of Jalan Legian/Seminyak. Bintang Supermarket, ATMs and a wide variety of eating places are all close by. Terima kasih Bali Pearl. I will be back - soon!

this is a gem and our 3rd time here.all the other reviews sum it up.
the Pearl restaurant is absolutely delightful with delicious food
it deserves to be placed up there and beyond the "in "restaurants and cafes that are reviewed by glossy magazines and book out every June/July school holidays.
our adult children who have stayed at bigger and fancier resorts very much appreciated the true Balinese feel to this hotel and sense that they really are travelling in another country
they would probably choose to stay in this property again over the large nearby resorts

This is our third time of staying at Hotel Bali Pearl and once again we have 100% loved it here. The hotel is only small which is what we love about it as we no longer stay in Chain hotels which we find to be impersonalised and not as friendly as the little boutique places.
Bali Pearl is close to food, shopping and only a short walk to the beach but the best part of it is the staff who are always so welcoming and accommodating and can't do enough to help you.
The pool is small but even with the hotel full we have nearly always had it to ourselves and it is only half a dozen steps from the rooms. There is a pet rabbit who is very cute and no kids under 15 can stay here which also suits us. Breakfast is small but sufficient.
I would highly recommend Bali Pearl for all of the above reasons and will most definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Not room 103 because that is my room and I want it available when I come back!

We loved the Pearl stayed with my sister and husband for 6 days .
We had a standard upstairs room ,my sister stayed in a downstairs delux room. I prefered the upstairs rooms ,liked the high ceiling and the private balcony.
This was our first stay in Legian ,we usually stay at Seminyak but I loved the location of the Pearl
It is in a great spot .
Easy to walk to the beach, shops and plenty of good restaurants close by.
Although it was in a busy location it is set back from the road with a lovely pool ad garden complete with pet rabbit.I would say quiet but there was some building work going on next door
but this is Bali and there is a lot of building work all over I would not let this put me off would def go again .
Rooms were clean spacious with a comfy bed and plenty of wardrobe space.
Fridge and safety deposit box.
The bathroom was very good twin sinks large powerful shower ad separate toilet.
Breakfast was served in the garden ,continental style good with nice coffee.
The staff were excellent nothing to much trouble .Right from day 1 they made us very welcome , we arrived way before booking in time they swapped our rooms so we would not have to wait around.
The spa was also excellent just make sure you book, they are so good you will not get in.
Can't wait to go back to the Pearl and next time we will stay longer the time just flew.

There's heaps if reviews here telling you all about it and they are all correct. Only 16 rooms, no children allowed keeping the pool area quiet and enjoyable. Small staff means friendly and trustworthy. Will give you anything you require extra tea bags extra free water something not on the menu for breakfast. All in all a delight in this price bracket.
