I have stayed here several times. It is definately good value for money. Nice and quiet, the staff are friendly and the hotel is in a great location quick walk to all the nightlife and shopping you could dream of, but when you want to escape the noise and people it is a very relaxing and peaceful hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms, I am returning once again in October for 2-3 weeks!! :)

newish rooms being Deluxe numbered 28 - 37. have large bathroom, plenty floor space & every second room adjoins with queen then twins so ideal 2 rooms for family 4. typical basic b'fast for a 2 1/2 star bali, i normally have the eggs & toast & cuppa. nothing flash, we have cereal in room as well to supplement. wife & kids go aroung corner to Legian Snacks for b'fast in Padma Utara cheap as chips.
brand new rooms being opened in early 2012 at rear of property, will check these out this July & report back. We have been staying here for around 4 years now & love the location, quick walk to great beach, lots of our favourite restaurants close by & right in the heart of the legian Garlic Lane hustle bustle but inside reort you wouldnt know, it is nice & quiet.Staff at resort very pleasant & friendly, typical bali have to keep asking for fresh towels, gotta laugh. Our driver based at resort is Made & will pick you up from airport for 80k large van. if you cant get in here try similar place Three Brothers in Padma Utara around corner.

This is our 5th trip to bali and usually stay budget as we dont like the big hotels so we know what to expect. We booked a superior room as they looked great in the pictures..When we arrived we were disappointed..the room looked alot smaller than the pics and wasnt very clean. It was dirty and smelt moldy..The bathroom was awful. This was room number 2..We dont like to complain but when we dropped the bags and went out for a drink and a walk we both said we werent happy..We actually looked around for another hotel close by..When we got back to the hotel we let them know that we didnt like the room and in the photos the superior room looked alot nicer and had a bath in it..we said are you sure this isnt a standard room..the answer was no this is a superior..hmmmm can we look at another one please..We were showed another room and wasnt much bigger but cleaner..We had remembered the reviews on tripadvisor saying about the deluxe rooms..We asked is there was a deluxe room free and could we look at it..yes yes but at the back of hotel..we didnt mind as it isnt a big hotel so the back isnt a far walk..

We were shown the delux room number 25..wow this is big and clean..he showed us around and we go yep we will take it..what a difference..Our room had a big verandah to sit on and we had a pool right outside the room..nobody else was staying in the back part so we had the pool to ourselves..The room had a big fridge in it and plenty of drawers and a nice dressing table with a light above..The shower head was huge and had plenty of pressure with nice hot water..After moving in we got chatty with another couple and they had a superior room..They gave us a look and theirs was really nice like the picture...Nothing like the one we had been given so next time we will get a superior is we get one like theirs or it will be deluxe again..

There was new rooms to the left of us which had just been completed they had the furnishings still wrapped up and ready to go in..they looked really nice...One the last day we had a ceremony at the hotel to celebrate the new rooms and the new temple and a new manager..we mixed with the staff and family members and they are all really nice people..we were made to feel welcome by everyone the whole stay..

With a hiccup at the start we are glad we stayed at this hotel the location is perfect we walked to all the great restaurants..The staff are all friendly and it is a nice place to walk into once you are off the busy streets..We found it peaceful..We loved the grounds as we walked through at night..we would come back most defiantley for the price and location is a little gem..

Like other reviews we didnt have breakfast there we tried but went around the corner to coffee corner for the best coffee in bali..The new manager did say he going to do something about this..a few of us were telling him at the ceremony and he appreciated the feedback..

Room Tip: I would pay the extra and get the deluxe rooms...

We stayed here twice during our many trips to Bali. Fell in love with this place, which is so peacful and quiet. Quite a number of seniors here due to the nature of this place. All guest are friendly.
The room we stayed in during our 1st visit was quite spacious. There's a sofa area and 2 twin beds. I guess is Super Single. The bathrooms are big and comes with a bathtub. The mirror/sink area is just outside the toilet.
There's also a fridge and a relax area outside the room. I guess all hotels have a so called relax/sofa area outside the rooms.
They have their own spa/massage which is located near the pool. It is quite big. We never fail to have our massages there. The pool is our kids favourite.
Shops and food/drinks are easily accessible once you step outside the hotel compound. We even rented a bike from the hotel. Simply said, we love this place. And oh, the Deluxe room is SO spacious...!

Room Tip: I really prefer a ground floor hotel. It is convenient and I don't have to walk up after a tirin...

We stayed here for 7 nights. Book 2 rooms, Thanks god we book the deluxe room and got the new ones..They were very big rooms very clean, bed was great, loads of draws cupboards and places to put stuff.. Bath room was big, Shower didn't have a lot of pressure but water was hot.
Swimming pool was nice, resturant food was really bad, and i mean bad..
Staff were really nice and helpfull.
We found that there were lots of people our ages there, which is in there 50's, which we liked as it wasn't noisy.
Remember this is only a 2an half star hotel

What i found that i didn't like and this would be at all hotels is that it rained, and every where you walked on the tiles you were slipping all the time..they don't use tiles on the floor that gives you grip..
I would go back to this hotel no worries..
I just didn't like the location, when you walked out of the hotel it was full on ...its is on garlic lane. Loads of resturants around.

Room Tip: I would make sure you get a new deluxe room
