“Bali Revisited”
Reviewed 28 March 2014

From the start our 5 nights in the Pullman were excellent. Transfer was organised with hotel & was well arranged. We had the use of a very modern van & a very helpful driver. In the van were also cold water & towels a very nice touch. Great start.
First thing we noticed at the hotel was a reassuring & practical level of security upon arrival.
Greeting at reception by both bell & reception staff was first rate. The staff at Pullman all over the premises are very motivated & pleasant to deal with. Makes up most our 5 star rating. Pullman staff congratulations!
First impressions of hotel. Lobby area stunning. Gardens beautiful. Easy to navigate around premises with everything well signed. Both garden & infinity pool lovely. Nice at infinity pool as you will get some nice breeze up there. Extremely humid in Bali in March so well received. There is also enough shade @ garden level pool. Love hammocks strung between trees in gardens.
We were staying in Grand deluxe rooms with garden view. These rooms are quite spacious & well appointed. Two cupboards, a bath & large shower area. King size bed for max comfort. Desk & day chair complete room. Beautiful. Would definitely book this room again. Wanted garden area so as not to have full sun in afternoon; just personal preference; you choose.
Food; breakfast had plenty of variety from cereal to Asian to eggs of any kind to hot foods. We think that you could find something to start with everyday. Meals we had in hotel at other times were medium portion well prepared & tasty.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pullman Bali & would not hesitate to recommend or return.

Some of our friends have suggested that this Pullman is not to the same standard as other hotels in the chain. My wife and I, however, found it a very pleasant hotel with very friendly and helpful staff (Alfie was excellent).

We upgraded to the Oceanside room so that we could take advantage of the sunsets. The room itself was starting to show signs of use, although boasting a spacious and clean bathroom, and a well equiped main room, you could just see the initial signs of wear and tear.

The infinity pool was fantastic, albiet there was a lack of shaded areas to lie around in. The water was super warm, obviously bakeing in the sun all day will do that. The main pool was significantly more refreshing and also boasted considerable more shaded areas.

The rest of the hotel grounds are modern and delightful - well maintained. Certainly not what I would call traditional balanese.

Our package included breakfast which was excellent, although it could probably have a little bit more variety thrown in. By the last day, there was certainly a feeling of sameness about the food.

Overall, it is a nice hotel. There are not too many features that make it stand out from other similar hotels in the area, so from that point of view it did not have that WOW factor for us.

Maybe I am over critical, especially when compared to my wifes requirements: being - needs to have cold quiet airconditioning and need to have no geeko's. The hotel ticked the boxes on all these requirements.

Room Tip: Upgrade to Oceanside only if you want the sunset. Negative part is that you get 4 - 6 hours of after...

We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend. Check in and out were smooth and efficient. Hotel ground is big with pretty landscaping. The beach is just across the road and Beachwalk Mall is 10 minute walk away.
As a Le club Accor gold member, we got upgraded to Grand deluxe room with late checkout. Our garden facing room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Bathroom consists of a separate shower, toilet and a bathtub. Only problem was with mosquitoes in the room. Please bring along repellent for a good night sleep. There are 2 pools, with one infinity pool on the 3 level overlooking the sea. As sun chairs with umbrella are limited, be early if you want to laze by the pool.
Overall, a very nice resort hotel to recharge and we will stay again if we visit Bali in future.

Greeting was excellent by the staff upon check in and check in was fast. Both of the rooms were very clean and spacious, it has all the necessary requirement for an international traveller now days needs during the holiday I.e international plug points, good wifi and serenity.
G Bar at the poolside serve nice menus for a lazy family who like to spend whole day by the pool.
Staff seem all happy to work there and service was great.

No complaints ...may be one little one the beds were a tad hard and suggest maybe some ear plugs for the ocean view rooms as the locals like to beep their horns on their bikes pretty minor though if you know ahead ...every one that we dealt with all the staff were wonderful .
this was our first time to Bali we travelled with family members who have been there before .....food excellent ,spa room excellent ,grounds are immaculate .
nothing was a problem for any staff member all spoke English well .
mosquitoes are around but you just have to be sensible ....re spray your room when leaving as the hallways are open that's when the mosquitoes try to get in don't leave patio doors open at dusk and in the morning all common sense really would highly recommend this place ..........well we will go back for sure .

Room Tip: look our ocean view room wonderful like I said ear plugs are your friend in this room ...but you hav...

As all other Pullman ive ever been its a very good option. If you want to be in Kuta its one of the best there. The infinity swimingpool its a very good option to stay during the sunset, drinking whatever you want. The staff is great and friendly making you feel at home. You can order your food and drink on the TV screen, its very efficient. The bathroon is spacious, clean, new and the shower is great too. The breakfest is great as well, but sometimes crowded. I suggest you get a seaview room so you can stay at your rooms balcony during the sunset, its great. The bed is very confortable and its size is ok for tall guys.

Room Tip: seaview are the best
