“Very happy with this hotel”
Reviewed 14 June 2011

Stayed for 4 nights in May 2001 before heading to Ubud. The hotel is excellent, great value for money and well suited to couples. Location is fantastic with the rear of the hotel facing the Northern part of Legian beach and perhaps one of the best surfing beach breaks on the whole strip, Lovely smaller swimming pool looking over the beach with bar and restaurant, a great place to watch the sunset. Larger swimming pool is located in the centre of the resort between the 2 main buildings, never very busy during our stay. Check in was smooth and easy after our arrival at 11pm, very polite staff. Great large room as request on the top floor overlooking the main swimming pool, even managed to connect to the free wifi in the lobby area from within our room as were just a few doors down. Breakfast is very good with a nice variety of Western and Asian food, eggs cooked to order. Only ate in the restaurant a couple of times as the menu was mostly Western and we found many good local places on the streets at the front of the hotel, as well as many on the beach front. Good spa's on the main street near the hotel, my wife thought Carla Spa was the best, just around the corner approx 80metres south of the hotel.

Room Tip: Try Carla Spa just around the corner

We spent 5 nights here in June and were impressed with this modern resort. Rooms were large with good amenities, bed was big and comfy. The breakfasts were nice with lots of variety and high turn over of food. The pool was beautiful as were the cocktails, especially in happy hour. We ate at the Tao resturant one night for a bbq buffet, it was nice with a cool acustic band. The location of this hotel is perfect, we definately prefered staying in Legian over Kuta. Staff were friendly and free Wifi in the lobby was good also.
Only let down was on check in (we arrived at 5pm), our room wasn't ready until 7pm and they tried to convince us to take 2 single beds over a king room.
Would probably stay here again if we secured a good deal.

stayed at ramada camakila for 3 nights. i stayed at the ramada benoa the previous 2 nights. is a much more modern hotel than the benoa ramada. It is a relatively small hotel but modern and on the beach in legian. is a good location to be amongst it all. the rooms are a very good size and for the price i thought very good value for money. the room service was good and reasonable price.

staff were very polite. breakfast was reasonable. we hired a scooter down the road and travelled everywhere on scooter. can walk along the beachfront back to kuta or up to seminyak which can be quicker when traffic is busy on the road.

had to pay for wifi in room but free in lobby

only downside was the towels were really old and grubby and linen could have been cleaner. other than that a good hotel.

Stayed for 6 days . Found the hotel have nice clean features but the breakfast areas are small and gets very crowdwed at certain times. Staff were very pleasant and always said hello which can't be said of some of the "snobby" guests. Room allocation is a bit hit and miss as we had to move rooms because the room type we ordered was not availabe as another guest decided to stay longer. Overall it is a nice hotel in a good location

This Hotel was fantastic, we loved the rooms they where nice and big, all bedding is clean and new, our rooms got made up twice a day - so if you wanted an afternoon sleep they would come back and make your bed up again for you. Service was awesome - food was brillant. All the staff are so friendly and enjoy a good laugh. our room was located on bottom floor as you walk out of your room you can pretty much jump into the pool - LOVED IT. We have been going to Bali for a long time and will always book to go back to this hotel - couldnt find one complaint. We look forward to going back

We have visited Bali many times and thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit staying at the Ramada Resort. The hotel is quietly located in the centre of Legian and is very convenient to great restaurants and shopping. Having cocktails sitting on the day beds on the roof top bar overlooking the beach at sunset is a bonus. The hotel rooms are large and were spotlessly clean and included a large flat screen TV and DVD player, the rooms are nicely decorated with a super large bathroom, little touches like bathrobes, slippers and lots of daily supplies of toiletries made the stay pleasant. The helpful friendly staff made our holiday very relaxed and they went out of their way to assist in any way they could. The buffet breakfast was delicious and varied every day, the restaurant where breakfast is located overlooking the beautiful lagoon pool certainly made a very pleasant start to the day. We are definitely going back to the Ramada and would strongly recommend this hotel to couples wanting a romantic getaway

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to most things. We had inter-connecting rooms as we took our 16 year old twins. Our nephew & his fiance stayed here also and loved it. Staff were great, room service great and the front pool over looking the beach was fantastic! we spent a few days there swimming and drinking...plus the club sandwiches were beautiful and very filling! I could've shared mine quite easily!! Rooms very big, aircon worked very well. The only thing I can fault them on was the bath towels could do with up dating!! they were a bit worn. Also there was a great little restaurant right across the road called Le Monde, very cheap, beautiful meals and great staff...all you had to do was stagger across the road back to the hotel!! It was Fantastic :) I would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Bali.
