“A Good New Hotel but a bit Noisy...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2012

The location of the hotel about odd. Entering a small alley but fine. It seem has just recently opened, and the cleanliness of the place is excellent. Air conditioner need to be turned on before guest arrival. It was take sometimes for the room to be cool. The hotel looks great with well-furnished rooms and free internet access. Hotel staff very friendly and very helpful, only a male receptionist (Theythey) was seemed not professional and a small problem with the noise.

First thing you should know that is in June 2012, this hotel is still under construction. The ambiance is ruined to say the least, by the sound of circular saws and hammers grinding and thumping away, even as I write this...

Advertised features such as the roof top bar are also not yet finished.

We were less than fortunate too also drawing a room close to the hotel driveway where the sound of motorbikes screaming away keep us up at night. The rooms just don`t seem to keep the noise out which is a shame considering the abundance of it at all hours.

It`s not a terrible place but not somewhere I`ll be coming back too either.

Room Tip: Don`t stay near the carpark driveway. Rooms 100 - 120 I would say.

Our family (2adults, 2 kids here) found this hotel excellent for our purposes of a couple of nights' stay in Legian from 22nd June and priced well at USD70 per room through Agoda, inclusive of breakfast. They were very responsive with our email requests for hotel pickup (at extra cost) and interconnecting rooms. The hotel is basically reception, the rooms forming an oblong around the swimming pool, the pool with swimup bar, and the dining area overlooking it. Not a huge space, but space is at a premium in this part of Bali. It's certainly not a 'resort' as an earlier review called it being disappointed in it, and it doesn't pretend to be. However, it's all nicely designed. The rooftop bar is being finalised for completion in 'about a month' and should have lovely views and be the place to meet friends that another reviewer found missing.

I've read earlier reviews that seemed a bit picky: because it's a lovely shiny new clean hotel, there is also still work going on but, conscious of guests, this is between 10am and 5pm where noise would otherwise interfere with guests. The staff were terrific, ignore earlier negative comments about them, we found them lovely. And where in Bali does all the staff speak good English anyway (perhaps at the 5stars) but that's one of the delights of being here, go with the flow.

For a smallish- medium hotel the breakfast range is fine: there are Asian breakfast options, Eur opean breakfast options and 'American' ones. An egg station that does whatever you like, a kitchen that responded to my ten year old's feedback request for hash browns by having them on offer the next day (he'd never get them at home anyway). What more do people expect, surely you can always find plenty to eat at these hotels for breakfast??

Finally, it's true there are no balconies but you can see that from their web page photos. The rooms are indeed on the smaller side (24sqm) according to the Agoda site so not a lot of space if you want to hang around inside. But a hotel set back from the beach down a lane that's right there in shopping street Mecca is not one you go to for hanging around inside - it provides a clean, modern, comfortable pit-stop for a good night's quiet sleep to charge you up ready for exploring Legian!

I've rated sleep quality 4 because I don't like tge Asian harder mattresses, but that's just me, my husband loved the bed.

Room Tip: Our room was towards the back, and there was no problem with city noise.

We booked at the last minute through wotif (3 nights) and were pleasantly surprised with the room we were given. It was up the back and overlooked the pool, the other side overlooked a garden. The room was small but it was new and tastefully decorated. There weren't any drawers so we had to shove all of our clothes in the cupboard. The fridge was small and not very cold so my husband pulled it out to find the temperature regulator and turn it down. Our aircon did not work on the first night, but after breakfast we told reception and they had someone there within 10 minutes and the aircon was fixed within 10 minutes after that and was freezing! The shower in the morning and during the day would go hot/cold a bit but at night it seemed to be more steady. There is no balcony to sit on and look at the pool so we sat out on the hallway on the other side and looked at the garden (removed a chair and bench to do so). We also had ocean glimpses through the trees. You can't open the window either so it was a little stifling, however the view to the pool and reception was amazing. The pillows are huge, the bed comfortable and the towels fluffy. Mini bar prices were reasonable.
The rooms on the ground floor have direct pool access but i am unsure if they would be worth the extra $$ as there were no tables or chairs to sit at.
The pool area and bar were very pretty, however, because of how the hotel is designed, the pool did not get any sunshine during the day so it was quite cold. The deck chairs only had sun for a few hours in the morning so if you like to lounge around by the pool in the sun all day, this probably isn't the place for you. :)
The lobby was beautiful and once the plants start growing i would imagine that it would only get better.
The rooftop bar was unfinished which was disappointing. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was nice. There was not a huge selection but they had the usual cooked breakfast with a few Asian dishes, cereal, breads, fruit and cold meats. Tea and coffee was not served, you had to help yourself.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and what we payed but i probably wouldn't want to pay over $85 a night for this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back (not on the sides) so that you have a garden view (as opposed to looking...

Brand new building and facilities which were very nice but after spending time around Bali at a number of other resorts this was easily the most disappointing. While the staff were nice enough, they were far less personal and trusting than any other Balinese people we stayed with during our travles. Many other nicer options for a cheaper rate! Hopefully will improve once they are properly up and running.

One of the most beautiful lobby hotel I've ever seen. The staff is so friendly. The hotel is new, but the service is excellent. I stayed two nights for business trip and have a wonderful time there. Breakfast is very nice. Will be back again on next holiday with my family.

From the moment we arrived we were treated well from the staff in the foyer
Also the people cleaning our rooms
And the staff in the restaurant staff who were real great
The rooms were clean and tidy but could have done with a chest of draws as there was limited space.
We were with a group of friends and did find that there was no provision for people to get together It is in a great location near shops and beach and do think that within the next three to five years the hotel will be great.
I did have to ask for medical assistance and we were able to get medical officers at 1130pm the staff were great .
We would rate the hotel as 8 out of 10
Good for families with inter connecting rooms, stayed from 12th may for 2 weeks
