Stayed New Year Eve 2013 as a couple.

Positives:
- Staff friendly and professional
- Pool lovely
- Fantastc location
-Well kept, clean and modern

Negatives:
- Rooms are very small and basic
- No balcony so paid extra for a pool access room which meant that our door opened up into the pool area but also meant we had very little privacy and had to have blind pulled accross at all times
- Was given two single beds when we were travelling as a couple and hotel was fully booked and couldn't change - make sure you request bed choice in advance (probably our fault)
- Lobby/reception area is too small and appeared to be a little under-staffed for the volume of rooms at the hotel which meant we were often waiting for assistance

Stayed there last week for two nights. We had room service on our first night as we arrived 12am. Taste was very good and reasonable price. Breakfast was a little disappointing, not much choice and taste average. Room was clean but lighting was terrible. 5 mins walk to the beach. Staffs were friendly especially housekeeper and cleaners. All i can says is, the official photos was well taken or Photoshop. Overall, if you don't mind small swimming pool and small room.

I stayed at Ananta with friends over Xmas/new year. The hotel is centrally located so it is easy to get around although traffic was terrible when we were there so although the distances were short it took forever to get anywhere.
The hotel itself has everything you would expect in this price range...pool area was good but it was sometimes a struggle to get a sunlounger. Pool bar had a good selection of drinks and the staff were very friendly. WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Breakfast was adequate and consisted of the standard fare, western and Asian hot breakfast options, bread, cereal, fruit, juice etc.
The rooms themselves were a little on the small side, we only had carry on luggage but if you had large suitcases it could be pretty cramped with two cases and people. I don't know what others are complaining about regarding the lack of light...room overlooked the pool and it was fine. The only real complaint about the rooms is that the windows didn't open so had to have aircon on all the time.
We did have a couple of meals at the hotel and the food was ok....but only ok....I would definitely recommend eating elsewhere.
All in all...I thought the hotel was a fair price for what you got and it is a decent mid range option.

Room Tip: Ask for room overlooking pool. Pool access rooms are actually just ground floor rooms and offer very...

We went for New years to Bali , first of all the price we paid was high compare to the services we got and quality of hotel. Just because of new years we had to pay extra price which was not worth at all. Also the rooms were decent though but I could see small ants crawling in the bathrooms and the linen also was smelling it was not clean properly.
Also the food was not up to the mark. So overall the stay was average

The price that we paid we could have easily got one of the better properties. Though it is centrally located but the traffic can kill the location. Also the rooms aren't too great. The only good thing about the hotel is service.

The hotel is situated near Jalan Double Six (about 5 minutes from Legian beach).

The hotel was probably better suited for couples than families as there are limited "kid-friendly" amenities save the pool. We are actually looking for a hotel with less kids and this worked out great.

I believe it was opened less than 24 months ago and has a very intricate design with a bar situated inside the pool - kitch. Was incredibly quiet considering the busy streets and traffic which are very close-by. It is not easy to find off of the street and Google Maps gives the wrong location.

Rooms are average size for a boutique hotel. I was not expecting a suite and they were able to fit in a king-sized bed. TVs are a bit on the small side but to be honest we were not there to sit in a hotel room.

Staff were quite friendly and spoke very good English. Gave good advice on taxi fares.

Restaurant offers a mix of local and Western cuisine. Quality matched my expectations - not a 5-star, not a warung, something in between. Having a buffet breakfast was also a very nice add on to our package.

Only issue we had (and may just be a result of a tropical county) was that we had an ant problem within about 2 days. Once we notified the staff, they were kind enough to relocate us to another room and we did not have any issues after that.

Would recommend this hotel for others likely traveling as a couple or group of adults.

Room Tip: Use Trip Advisor Map or type in exact address from hotel's website into Google Maps. Otherwise...

We went during new year, so it was impossible to get a taxi to many places, so we ended up eating in the hotel a few times. Big mistake; the 1st time I got a medium t-bone it was quite tough. I'm not exaggerating when I say I spent a good 1 or 2 minutes sawing at the leather like steak. I was then poisoned the second to last day of my stay with Nasi Goreng.
My wife also mentioned it at the front desk, so let's see if the food improves.
I've been travelling all over Indo for 8 or so and had never got food poisoning until now.
Also, the rooms are quite small and I think it's a bit of a stretch to give this 4 stars. It's prob a 3 star hotel.
Also the bed was very hard. If you like that bench feel to your sleep, this should be fine.

Between the hard bed, walking everywhere due to not being able to get a taxi where the hotel is, and food poisoning, I'm coming back from my break exhausted.

The only reason it gets 2 stars and not 1? The staff were friendly enough
