Spent 7 nights here in room 101 pool access room on ground level. The room itself was spacious enough with a king size bed which was comfortable enough. The bathroom was also adequate with a good sized 2 person shower, the pressure was good. The A/C in the room was good as well. The room was clean but could do with a touch up, had some early problems with ants and mosquitoes but the staff attended quickly to these problems. The pool itself is adequate without being oversized. There are only about 5 lounges on the wooden deck surrounding the pool and another 4 wick beds that go into the pool. The staff are the nicest I have come across nothing is too hard and they were always smiling and helpful. Now the bad this room is about 6 feet away from the main bar area and breakfast area and can be noisy as everyone staying in that part of the resort which is 5 stories and split into two sections has to pass your room to get to and from their room and can be very noisy at all times of the day and night. The breakfast itself is really directed at the Asian market as westerners we were really stuck with the choice of cereal, fruit or eggs and toast . The breakfast area has no ceiling fans and can get quite stuffy and humid especially when the place is full of guests. The coffee is the worst I have tried but the staff allowed me to obtain for free coffee from the machine for breakfast. The location is about 1 km from legian beach and 2km from Kuta centre, however the footpaths surrounding the hotel are poorly maintained and it is dangerous to walk into Legian. I paid $55AUD a night and you get what you pay for. I wouldn't really recommend the hotel for families or the elderly. The hotel does supply a free shuttle bus 3 times a day to compensate for the walk. It is a 3.5 star hotel.
