“2nd Visit but won't be back - disapointed”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

We stayed here for 7 nights in April and were disapointed with our stay. We stayed at the hotel when it was first build in 2012 and really enjoyed it, hence the return trip but we wont be going back. We had 2 lagoon rooms booked which was also where we stayed in the past - the rooms are in poor quality now 18 months on, their is paint coming off the walls and cracks and our room stunk like smoke on arrival. The first morning we were woken at 7am by screaming kids playing in the pool which continued for 2 hours, even though I called and complained this did not stop. First thing that morning we requested to be moved which they did for us to the 4th floor. The rooms in much better condition and quieter. Also had problems then getting our rooms upgrades back as it had already been receipted in the system - I was like so just refund it. Eventually we were able to get the $180 credited against our room which meant we had to use their services. If your looking for a cheap place that you dont spent much time is this place is for you - we wont be back.

Room Tip: Don't go the pool lagoon as they are very used and in poorer condition to the upper levels.

I stayed here for a week in April 2014 and had a fabulous time at the resort. The hotel was booked through Expedia and cost only A$235 for 7 nights, with no breakfast. If you wanted breakfast it cost an extra 75,000IR. We stayed on the 5th floor towards the end of the corridor and found the room to be quiet and very relaxing. A king size bed was in the room, the room was spacious and included some shelves inside the cupboard which was very handy. The outside balcony with a corner reading nook was great when you wanted to spend some time outside. While I didn't use the pool, it seemed quite inviting and well set up with a few deck chairs and loungers. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would definitely stay again. It was about a 15 minute walk to Legian Beach along some bad footpaths. Beware of the dodgy money changers who do not operate out of proper offices. Avoid them like the plague as they will just try to rip you off. Stick to the official looking offices and you'll have no problems.

Room Tip: Stay in the higher level rooms as they are quieter.

Second time around, I took a friend to stay in Indo, as the last time I stayed at the Bliss Surfers Hotel and the service was so great.
Well happy to say no change , still a wonderful place to stay, the Hotel is great and the service from the people there a1
Really could not ask for anymore.
My friend got sick why we were there and missed her burner back to Aus
And I had already left the county.
They went back to the airport and picked her up, looked after her and put her on a burner the next day.
Really can not get better help and friendly service like that in to many places.
And we are planing our next stay with them and will be taking some friends along.
So thanks again guys for all your help and friendship.

Spent 7 nights here in room 101 pool access room on ground level. The room itself was spacious enough with a king size bed which was comfortable enough. The bathroom was also adequate with a good sized 2 person shower, the pressure was good. The A/C in the room was good as well. The room was clean but could do with a touch up, had some early problems with ants and mosquitoes but the staff attended quickly to these problems. The pool itself is adequate without being oversized. There are only about 5 lounges on the wooden deck surrounding the pool and another 4 wick beds that go into the pool. The staff are the nicest I have come across nothing is too hard and they were always smiling and helpful. Now the bad this room is about 6 feet away from the main bar area and breakfast area and can be noisy as everyone staying in that part of the resort which is 5 stories and split into two sections has to pass your room to get to and from their room and can be very noisy at all times of the day and night. The breakfast itself is really directed at the Asian market as westerners we were really stuck with the choice of cereal, fruit or eggs and toast . The breakfast area has no ceiling fans and can get quite stuffy and humid especially when the place is full of guests. The coffee is the worst I have tried but the staff allowed me to obtain for free coffee from the machine for breakfast. The location is about 1 km from legian beach and 2km from Kuta centre, however the footpaths surrounding the hotel are poorly maintained and it is dangerous to walk into Legian. I paid $55AUD a night and you get what you pay for. I wouldn't really recommend the hotel for families or the elderly. The hotel does supply a free shuttle bus 3 times a day to compensate for the walk. It is a 3.5 star hotel.

Room Tip: Don't bother booking a pool access room as the noise is a killer try the higher floors away from...

Hotel was spotless clean, front desk people were helpful with getting our cabs. Good deal for the price we paid (roughly MYR 100+ per room for 2 guests) Really happy with our choice to stay there. Would definitely consider coming back.

Cons :
Room's floor were a bit sticky, not sure why. We lost the driver that picked us up from the airport, who assumed we knew where he would be waiting for us outside (its our first time in Bali). Ended up wasting almost an hour wondering where he was, but when we called the hotel they sorted it out.

We stayed here with my brother and his girlfriend for 4n last week and had a good time. Here are some observations...

Pros:
-Friendly staff.
-Good room with comfortable bed.
-Great shower - hot and powerful.
-Good breakfast.
-Nice pool.
-Tasty cocktails.
-Good spa packages.

Cons:
-Expensive surfing quotes with ripcurl school.
-No room tab allowed and we were questioned about my brother having breakfast on the first morning as they had not yet fully paid for their room...I had already explained that their flight landed at 1am and might not be able to pay in full until the following day.
-Aircon was weak and room was therefore hot.
-Located a bit away from the better restaurants while the path to the beach is dangerously potholed and not lit at night.
-Restaurant played the same 3 songs all day long.
