My wife & I, sister & brother in law and a child each stayed in Villa 11, Villa is as the photos represent, pool, grounds and rooms were clean and presented beautifully, the staff at all times were friendly, polite and most tried to be helpful. The cooked b/fast at $8 pp was not good value, brought in barely warm, small serves and quality of the bacon and chorizos were only bin worthy, quite a limited choice. When we first arrived the fridge had not been turned on to cool down, so couldn't have a have a refreshing drink and that took 24hrs to get going. Mini bar prices are good, we had no running water for half a day, so a much needed shower was not available and no clear explanations as to when the problem would be rectified. The WiFi only worked for around 6 hours in the week we were there, very disappointed especially when talking to others staying at nearby Villas who weren't having a problem. Location to Legian is great, taxis are cheap, just give them a card with the address on, no problems. The Badang River is filthy and smelly and what a shame the Villas are right alongside it (as it certainly spoils the look as you arrive at the villas which is very very plain to begin with), a haven for the mosquitoes, requests for fly/mossie spray took over half a day and yes we had bought some ourselves but oh so needed more an more! requests for more spray were totally ignored. The pool was only skimmed over when cleaning, no vacuuming or testing of water, once a handful of chlorine was thrown in. Having the water cooler dispenser was fantastic, trouble is they seemed to be reluctant to refill or leave a spare in the cupboard. At times the nearby dogs barked incessantly, motorbikes going up and down were keeping us awake or waking us up between 5 - 6 am, completely understood that people have to go to work, nobody's fault, just annoying when on holiday.
First time staying in a Villa, and although over all very nice, we wouldn't stay again, we all agree a hotel for us next time.

We stayed in Villa 5, while friends and relatives stayed in Villa 6 and 7, we had an enjoyable time and celebrated a 60th Birthday party catered by the staff of Arama Riverside. The food was magnificent and the staff were delightful for the full stay. Great location easy to get to your destinations, walk or Taxi. The photos of the Villas is what you see is what you got, which is more than we were happy with. We will be staying there again in the future. We had no issues at all, perfect holiday stay.

My family of 3 stayed at Arama Riverside Villas for 11 nights. Overall, it was a great experience. The villas were as they are in the promo photos, the service was friendly and prompt and the location was good; northern Legian, so it's a quick cab away from Seminyak and Kuta.
I took into consideration some of the negative reviews we read on Trip Advisor but for us at least, the only minor issue we had was that the WiFi wasn't working for about half the trip.
The rooms, bed linen and villa in general were clean and maintained and the pool was great. I was a little dubious about the Balinese style open living area but with the 2 ceiling fans, it was comfortable at any time of day.
I would thoroughly recommend Arama Riverside to anyone contemplating staying here.

The photos on the website are a fair representation. The villa grounds and gardens are lovely as was the pool. The service was good and very polite. There were a number of items that weren't working most notably Internet (until late in the stay); oven; no running water for first 12 hours of stay. Overall though, a very nice stay. The open plan living area was great and is right next to the pool which makes it easy to monitor the kids. We needed to lock the kids in their rooms at night because there is no pool security. As for location, the street is relatively quiet. There is a back route to Legian St which is only a 2 or 3 minute walk.

A great place to stay and chill with friends on holiday. Free wifi in the villa, and decent room service. The pool was a great plus as was the living room with great quality TV. Only drawback is location was 10 minutes from the main square in Seminyak and that most taxi drivers didnt know where this hotel was. Make sure you memorize the address/street name to avoid confusion!

Otherwise, great value for money to stay with friends.

Dear Guests

Thank you for staying with us at Arama Riverside and the kind comments. We have now put taxi cards in reception with instructions for taxi drivers to help find us. Our back exit onto The Legian Road is located by The Air Asia office and DHL which are easy to find.

We hope to see you again and are glad you had a lovely stay.
