“Ideal Tropical Hotel”

Just got back from a one week vacation with my wife in Legian Beach Hotel - Bali
The hotel is just where u need to be - private and quite and only 10 minutes walking from the Busy Semmenyak area

The hotel has a beach front with no streets to cross - which is very rare in the west part of Bali - making it quite comfortable going To-from the beach to the beautiful Bungalow shaped room in the heart of a paved tropical forest full of high trees and beautiful greens with rhyming jungle birds sounds.

Main restaurant overlooks the beautiful green scenery and the ocean in an open terrace - and indoor is also there - yet we were lucky going in the dry season May-Sep wih no rain-minimum humidity and full sunshine with temperature around 30 C

The pool is really great and original with its Jacuzzi overseeing the ocean

The Hotel Banjar Restaurant is a great choice for Candle light dinning in an open air with gentle summer night sea breeze - we loved it !!!

Expect some lizards and squirrels on your door front as u r in a real jingle
Food variety wasn't amazing - just Okay
Staff are okay as well

If you are visiting Bali - I would recommend staying there for 3 days and then move to the East side and stay in Nusa Dua Area as its a total different nature that you don't want to miss

Having been to this Hotel on several occasions, we have always found it very good. The staff are courteous and most helpful. We have always stayed in a "Bungalow" rather than the hotel section of the resort. It is right on the beach, has two pools and the breakfast buffet is one of the best we have experienced.
The hotel is close buy to shopping precincts and a fantastic array of restaurants. While some of the "Bungalows" are in need of upgrading, the majority have been renovated or are in the process of being renovated.
Would recommend to travelers who are looking for 4 star accommodation and facilities at a very reasonable rate.

Room Tip: Rooms near the pools and beach are good

We stayed one week in this hotel. Upon arrival we found ourselves in quite a culture shock coming from Java and the tranquil place we stayed there. After getting accustomed a bit, I must admit we did like the hotel. Comfortable and clean room - good breakfast and well kept facilities. If you however fancy something less touristic, then go someplace else at Bali and avoid the Kuta / Legian area.

This is one of the best location in Bali. The hotel and their service are excellent, breakfast and diner are SUPER!!! With 2 swimming pools, Jacucci along side the pools and the pool bar will give you the best relaxation all day long. You also may use the beach with its beautiful sand and refreshing waves. At the terasse laying at a big soft long chair, enjoying a sun downer and watch the sun sinking slowly into the sea creating a marvellous atmosphare and wonderful scenes for making pictures.
The best one could do is to take a bungalow for very much privacy and a green surrounding with birds and squirrels around you.

Room Tip: Always select a bungalow which are very quit and with big space.

Stayed here for one week in standard room
Location was excellent
Breakfast was good too
Staff great
Squirrels run across balcony of a morning which is an extra to wake up to. No complaints
Nice day beds facing ocean at bar is great - day or night fine as it's still beautiful either way.

A Pool Villa is the perfect "hide away" in a busy area. It gives you plenty of options, privacy, general pool, spa bath or beach …. Excellent value for money. Service fantastic and the staff were very helpful and considerate especially with our young granddaughter. Plenty of shopping opportunities within walking distance.

Room Tip: Select a Villa with a private pool. This then gives you many options as to whether you wish to use t...

Hubby and I stayed here for a week, great location. This hotel is busy really busy . We moved bungalows after I be night thankfully the manager assisted us he was very helpful , some of the staff here are Rude and have that couldn't care less attitude mostly the reception staff and the bar staff . Very unusual fur Bali . We spent a lot of time at the beach across the road the local were much more friendly . I would stay here again purely for location but I would want to choose my bungalow . Some of them are really small and have two beds which have to be out together then you get the gap . It seemed like we had to make a big drama to move rooms . Breakfast was lovely but hard to get a coffee staff are very busy cleaning tables and forgetting the coffee . It is a large hotel with fewer staff than I've seen in Bali before . We had a great holiday and didn't let the small things at the hotel bother us . Im glad the beach was opposite though as the service pool to get a drink was non existent we had to keep searching for staff . On check out they tried to charge us for water from the bar fridge that we never took I the first place , that was rather annoying abit of an embarrassing drama to rectify it , we sorted it eventually . Those kind if things are rather annoying and leave a mark . But overall it's a traditional Balinese hotel which are getting hard to find in Bali nowadays

Room Tip: We stayed in a bungalow I have no idea what the hotel rooms are like , bungalows are small so I'...
