The Padma is a 6/6 hotel. I recommend you have a garden chalet with club extras.
The extras you get between 5.00-7.00p.m.we didn't need to go out for dinner.
The gardens are beautiful and pools are excellent.
The resort is on the beach and the early morning walks are very enjoyable.
Breakfasts were excellent, service impeccable.
Padma is close to shops and restaurants.
You would be hard to please if your found fault with the Padma.

Beautiful hotel with great pools. And very moisty small room.Breakfast was good but not enough fruits, although plenty choices of everything else.Nice restaurants,i`d recommend eating on the territory of the hotel because places outside seem to be dirty and noisy all day long.
Biggest disappointment was the beach as big strong waves made it fun for the surfers only,no sunbeds there either,it will be offered by annoying locals for some extra cost.so we mainly stayed by the pool, enjoying great cocktail bar in the middle of it.During summer holidays there were many kids and since there was not much to do on the beach, they all also stayed in the pool.Luckily pools were big enough not to be overcrowded.
While booking we mentioned that it would be our honeymoon but it appeared to be forgotten, well we did not hesitate reminding again. After that we have gotten ourselves some cake and a fruit plate .
We did not get the late check-in,however staff allowed us to stay by the pool and take a shower at the fitness center before leaving the hotel.
All in all it`s a great hotel but if you are searching for more of a beach/sea experience then I`d recommend staying somewhere in Nusa Dua.

For the second time this year we have stayed at the Padma in Legian. We had the Deluxe Club Chalet Rooms with the Club Benefits. Well what more could you ask for...three restaurants to choose from for breakfast, afternoon snacks at 3pm, Drinks & nibblies at 5pm. The rooms are spacious, air-con works great. The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough for you. Pools are good, plenty of sunbeds available. We will be back to the Padma soon

Room Tip: If you are unhappy with your room ask to be shifted the staff will do whatever they can to help

I travelled to Bali to celebrate my 40th with 2 friends, We stayed in a Lagoon access room with club benefits. Well worth the money. The breakfast and view whlie you sat were both breath taking. The staff wait on you hand and foot. Most evening we went to the club lounge for drinks, they really turn it on. I was thinking they wound move real slow so you only get a coulpe of cocktalis, I was wrong, and they are strong too. The food was OK too. The staff at this resort must be well picked as everone is so polite and happy and you can tell it is NOT fake they are beautiful, I only wish we had more time in the resort. Massages, shopping, tours, rafting all took up time out side. The area the resort is in has really nice people in the shops too. They are not too pushy like the south kuta area. Sure they want to make a sale but they dont go over board and by day 2 they will even remember your name. Places close to the Padma we went to and would recomend are Mozeralla for lunch, it also has 2nd cocktail free. Across the road is a reflexology massage think it was called Denco's but it is the only massage place right acress from Mozeralla. If you cant get in straight away..book a time cos you wont get one 1/2 a good. We went to a few before finding this place. The Legian Hotel has good bands and lots of fun, mainly Aussies. Hi Jimmy. If you want a fantastic tour guide call tropical experiances, they are on;y 1 block away and ask for Mila. She will take you everywhere that is worth going too and has connections to some pretty cool places. We had a fantastic holiday thanks to Mila. I never thought I would of liked Bali as much as I did and I can strongly say that this resort played a big part to me having a fantastic holiday. I will be back again and I would hope that my husband and 2 children would come with me. THANKS HEAPS staff at Padma, I will remember this place for a long time. THE BEST PLACE, JUST BOOK IT NOW dont look any further. You too will love it.

Room Tip: Any type of room here would be OK it is perfect everywhere

We are just back from a 3 week stay at the Padma and we absolutely loved it. We have stayed at other places in Bali, this was by far the best. Our room (premier room) was beautiful, very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We were extremely fortunate and very appreciative of a free surprise upgrade. Though I did see a deluxe room which was as beautiful just smaller. Bathroom was perfect and Miss 5 loved winding down after a hard day watching a movie while in the bath. I can't praise the staff enough, every single person (there are so many) we came into contact with was friendly and helpful - this certainly made our stay very special. Miss 5 would like a special mention to go to Aya at the big pool, he organised the children's pool activities and always encouraged all the children with his wonderful smile and great sense of humour. Both pools are beautiful, we found the Barong pool just a bit cooler and preferred the other pool due to the activities. The breakfast each day was the best we have had at any place we have stayed any where! The grounds were gorgeous and very well kept. Security was very good and the security staff were so respectful while carrying out their work. The gym facilities were fantastic and again very clean. The one complaint we have would be the size of the bar fridge, it was too small to keep a couple of bottles of water and some fruit in it and wasn't very cold at all. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return!!! Thanks Padma.

The Padma Resort at Legian is set in beautiful grounds overlooking Kuta Beach. We had travelled from a small hotel in Ubud so found the sheer size of The Padma is bit overwhelming at first. The service is good but lacks the personal touch that a smaller hotel often has. The buffet breakfast is the BEST - never have I seen that much variety in any other hotel. Rooms are spacious and are clean on the surface but the bathrooms could use a really good scrub - but who spends much time in their rooms? The two pools are large and nice and cold - just perfect to cool off in but you have to get there quickly after breakfast to get a lounge as they are all taken up early in the day. Overall, I would stay there again because of the location and overall good value.

Room Tip: Rooms spacious and reasonably clean. Rooms at the back of the hotel are quiet and out of the way of...

"Back at the Padma",... sounds like a song, ...well what can you say, the first night back we went to the sunset bar looking onto the beach had a few cool drinks and chilled out listening to the Reggae band we also had the most amazing sunset i've ever seen, plus this hotel just keeps getting better and better, I'm a bit worried that soon we won't be able to afford to go there as we seem to be victims of the popularity of the place and the welcome as "repeater " guests is just like a home from home, it really is our "Nirvana" the chefs have everything down pat,and cater for all tastes regardless of which continent you are from and the breakfasts are "Magnificent " Kudo's to head chef John Taylor, fantastic pools, lush tropical gardens manicured perfectly and everything is spotlessly clean with great security and honest staff (very important to us) our last night we went to the "Bella Rosa" Italian restaurant for the mediterranean buffet dinner ,you might think "well they're all the same" but it wasn't, how can you get the most fantastic tasting lasagne? we've eaten plenty of Italian but this was the best by far, the selection was amazing, fantastic desserts and a chocolate fountain had the younger people (and some older ones) entertained,it's elevated for the most part open air and you get great ocean views plus the acoustic quartet. We went to the Thailand in march this year and "The Deli" at the Padma does a better Thai chicken salad than any we tasted in Thailand and the staff are just different class, thanks for another fantastic holiday (birthday trip) and the birthday cake surprise ,was ......well the icing on the cake , (pardon the pun) the whole holiday, was "Sensational" PS. DON'T put the prices up ;{)
