Padma
Very good resort, location is good too, near legian street, on the way many shops & just around the corner a good spa saloon (European style, a little "expensive" though) close to the Airport too (transfer included), rooms are good big enough clean and comfortable, bedding is good very well sleep, two swimming pool one a little colder then other one, exit to the great beach with waves perfect for surf, breakfast oh Gosh so good, various choice, huge & tasty, to burn it only with help of yoga available twice a week but you can arrange private lesson as well for $15 per person, gym is big and available everyday, nice view at sunset bar, pizza was great, life music every single day different bands...
Enjoyed every single day!

We stayed at the Padma on our recent trip to Bali. We have not been to Bali since 1980 ! & so much has changed in that time that we were not sure where to stay, but on recommendation from friends, choose the Padma. We were not disappointed, it was awesome. We stayed in a lagoon view room which over looked the pool at the rear of the hotel & it was simply outstanding. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. There are wonderful sculptures and gardens & little hidden areas of delight everywhere. The pools, rooms and staff were all excellent. The breakfast buffet is fantastic (& yes! Aussies - there is even Vegemite if you are desperate LOL). It is really well situated with direct beach access & shops right out the front to stock up your bar fridge. They even leave your bar fridge empty ( can be stocked on request), because they know most folks like to fill up at the local market. They have a pillow 'menu' which is truly welcome if, like me, you are fussy with the type of pillow you sleep on. I found 'the all round wellness' pillow to be a good choice, but its up to you ! Every one, from the house keeping staff to the security guards at the front gate were friendly & helpful. Happy hour in the lagoon pool is good value too. Two for the price of one is always a good deal (& they will keep your second drink cold until you want it too!). If you have a late flight out of Bali there is a lounge area where you can shower, change an relax before your flight as well so you are able to enjoy every last minute of the facilities before you leave . I would highly recommend a visit to this hotel. We even checked out one of the garden view rooms courtesy of another couple we had met there & it was pretty nice too. Although we did swim in the front pool a few times, & it was nice too, we spentt most of the time at the lagoon pool & bar. It was very picturesque & perhaps a bit quieter than the main pool. The gym facilities looked pretty good too ( although, for some reason, we didn't quite make it there - we did have intentions but .... Shopping & swimming & happy hour all seemed to get in the way!).

Room Tip: The lagoon view rooms are highly recommended. We did not have a direct access room, because we like...

We travel to Bali each year and just love the Padma, its our home away from home. The staff are wonderful and are always ready to help and everything is done with a smile!
The Pool is our favourite spot with great views over the beach!

Wasn't lucky enough to stay here, but we had an Italian buffet dinner on a Thursday Night a few weeks ago. This was absolutely amazing. Apparently the Chef is Aussie, but the food was just like Nonna makes it. The staff were also wonderful.
We also hung out at the pool & had cocktails. Thankyou Padma & your grounds are superb.

We had a fantastic holiday and enjoyed most aspects of this resort. The "theme dinners" were not good value or particularly good to us, but there are so many great options nearby. The kids club for up to 8 year olds is lacking for older kids apart from the sometimes working play stations, so this comes in handy if you've chosen the 'club' option for happy hours. Met many great people - locals, staff, guests etc.

Room Tip: Definitely recommend joining the garden club for the extra benefits received.

I had few personal incidents, both not-too-pleasant and extraordinarily awesome. Overall i would say that the service was excellent, Padma does deserve a five star for its hospitality.. Thank you for the whole team..

I have had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful resort twice in the last 3 years. Greetings, front desk staff, food services, pools, rooms and simply the overall friendly atmosphere is extremely refreshing. Easily 1 of
my favorite spots. Easy walking distance to the beach & a variety of shops & restaurants. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The lunch buffet for the our conference crew was superb. I am really looking forward to our 2015 meeting.
