“Exceptional food, service and grounds”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

My wife and I stayed at the Padma last week for 4 nights. Immediately impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The property is extremely large & very well maintained. The gardens & ponds are beautiful. All the food, be it at breakfast or lunch was of the highest quality & very reasonably priced. The staff in the Garden Club were great as well.

I would certainly recommend the Padma.

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor and possibly the balcony would have been better.

This is one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed, the Staff are amazing, The resort is amazing, the live entertainment, food and beverages are amazing.

Sadly there are a fair few Patrons who fail to respect 1. the staff, 2. the rules, and 3. Other patrons.

Bali isn't a place to release your inner bogan. So if you are looking to travel to Bali and party, swear and carry on then Padma isn't for YOU ! If you are after a place to relax, sit quietly around 2 of the best pools and gardens to unwind, forget all your troubles and be looked after by all the staff, then Padma is for you.

I always feel safe and secure and at home when I stay at Padma, I have stayed there 6 times and will keep going back, only 1 thing turns me off travelling to Bali and that is the Australian Bogans who have zero respect for these amazing people and this particular resort.

As I have said, the staff and the resort are simply amazing. ! I can't wait to get back there. (Home).

Room Tip: All depends on what suits your budget, you can't go wrong with any of the room styles, as they a...

Beautiful surrounds inside the resort, top shelf service by a staff that is clearly happy where they are. Sit by the pool or head into Kuta everything is so close, the onsite travel is spot on with advice. Seriously A great place to stay. a++ 10/10

the resort area is very quite, since it's quite far from Bali's night bars / places. So if you looking for party all night, it's may not be the best place to stay. but if you wanna have peaceful, quite place for yourself, family or for couple, i think this resort will be good choice. But it's Bali anyway, all the place is near, so u can be easy to go to other area that you like. ( one think i realize the traffic from the hotel was quite bad, the traffic jam is not too good, since some street only one way, so if you wanna go to Kuta area i think better u just walk along the beach, u will get there)

They have quite big swimming pool ( not Olympic size, but big enough) and very near to the beach.I love the beach, because it's not too busy ( not like Kuta beach) and we can just walk from the resort and hang out there all day, just hv sun batching and read book. Ad, and for the surfer, the wave is also very nice, at least that what i saw from the people that surf there, i cant do it myself)
the breakfast was good, have quite a lot of choices.

Room Tip: The room is like cottage, 1 cottage has 4 rooms, 2 room on 1st level, 2 room on 2nd level. we book...

We stayed at the Padma last week and found the resort beautiful, the staff very helpful and friendly. the breakfast variety was good and the food around the pool was very yummy.
We stayed in a deluxe chalet which was very roomy and had an enormous bathroom...the only problem we found was that you could hear everything that was happening in the rooms next door and upstairs.

Just returned from 2 weeks at this magnificent resort. The occasion was my wifes 60th Birthday and we had all our family there and it was an outstanding place to celebrate such an occasion.
This property does deserve very high ratings, the surroundings are fanastic, the staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. Any issues we had - Air Conditioning running a bit hot - were fixed straight away. And always with a smile.
We had Garden Club access benefits which were very good. Although we found that the Breakfast at the main area was much better for selection options. In fact the Breakfast buffet was one of the best I have seen anywhere in the world - including the famous ones in Las Vegas.
Ventured outside the resort more often for Lunch and Dinner than inside the Resort, but the Japanese restaurant in the Padma Resort is an outsanding Restaurant - had a Teppenyaki Night there and the food was sensational.
The Pool Bar at the Lagoon access area was very good and they have great cocktails.
No real downside to this place at all - be prepared to pay more for meals and drinks than some other places, but the quality is worth it
Probably the only thing that got to me at the resort was some of the Bogan Australians who speak to and treat the Balinese like lowlife. And yet the staff still managed to maintain a smile and handle themselves very well.
We will definitely be back no question
