“Great place to stay”

2nd visit to the Bali Padma and both times we had an excellent stay.
Beautiful resort with great amenities.
Close to shops and restaurants.
Friendly staff and a fabulous buffet breakfast.
Will return in the future and look forward to staying there again

Room Tip: Rooms away from pool area would be quieter .

Scored highly on the rooms, spacious, well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Also scored highly for the restaurant. The breakfast sitting was enormous, with 6 different food bars serving Asian, desserts, pastries, western, fruit, and cold-cuts, buffet style. In common with many travellers I filled up and rarely needed to have lunch. The food itself was excellent quality, rooms were plentifully stocked with bottled water, and no incidents of 'Bali belly'. Tip: don't drink the filter coffee that is provided - ask for a machiato, cappucino or Americano from the coffee bar. Excellent quality. The staff themselves are uniformly helpful, unflappable, and polite, I noted as well that many seemed to be equally capable in a variety of languages. The resort itself is very attractively done with Koi ponds, plenty of greenery, and some fantastic sculptures scattered around the gardens. The only thing preventing an 'Excellent' rating was that the resort either didn't have rules, or wasn't prepared to enforce them regarding a couple of yobbos who brought a boom-box to the pool. Not very relaxing.

The Padma Resort is a lovely hotel in a great location. The hotel and its grounds are beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Room was nice with a lovely king sized bed which was great to sleep in. Unfortunately we could hear our neighbours clearly (and they us I'm sure) probably because of the adjoining doorway. Was woken up early a couple of mornings. A nice variety of food at breakfast.
I understand that the Padma is a family friendly resort well set up and welcoming for children. Unfortunately breakfast seemed to be a free for all where children were allowed to run wild - touching food, playing chasey and yelling. While this is not the fault of the hotel, a word to parents might have made it more pleasant for others.
An enjoyable stay, and would stay here again.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this resort (coming from Singapore), I wish we had booked for longer as it was the most beautiful place and stunning hotel! Transfers great, food and choice of food excellent, extremely clean, friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous chalet room with balcony and double rain shower and bath, right next to the beach and with two lovely pools! We loved the Japanese restaurant and I was surprised with a birthday cake, which was so lovely and kind. The club sandwiches for lunch were sooo good and so were the 'Lady Gahar' cocktails! We could always find a sun lounger around the pool, none of that usual everyone reserving beds all day, not many children, mainly couples and families with older children. Outstanding gardens and close proximity to Legian shops, bars and restaurants, although we ate at the hotel each night as it was so lovely. I would return to this hotel for sure and recommend it to anyone and everyone! What a wonderful birthday Bali stay.

Room Tip: 1st floor chalet has lovely balcony!

Yes it's true what other guests have said this hotel is great purely because if all the staff that work here, they have offered us the best service , we booked the garden club which was good to have the little extras, had breakfast in both the restaurant and garden club and twice in our room which was lovely and so relaxing. The hotel is older and rooms I think need to be updated although bed and pillow menu make for a comfortable night sleep. Pools a bit of hit and miss very busy with children and families which is ok but for a couple trying to relax not so much fun, the sun loungers are also so close together that you feel uncomfortable practically on top of some other family or couple, our favourite pool was by far the lagoon pool which was slightly quiter.Tge garden club complimentary drinks in the evening were good although easy to over indulge and not able to eat out after as full up, there were also a lot if older guests who use the garden club and have been coming to the hotel for many years one lovely couple now on there 27th year !! There was however another set of guests who also I think have been coming for many years , they seem to feel they owned the garden club one morning one of them spoke to the staff so poorly because the wrong cheese had been put in her omelet she actually waved her hand about for the young man to leave and dismissed him it was truly disgusting and I found it hard to be near this whole group for the rest of our holiday they should be so ashamed of their behaviour to the lovely staff at the garden club. Thank you all the staff at the Padma for making our stay so pleasant.

We have a small baby and everyone there was so accommodating and friendly.
It was one of our best hotel experiences ever.
Whatever we needed, for our baby was promptly provided for our convenience.
The food was awesome and the rooms were clean.
I couldn't recommend it more.
