“Fabulous holiday”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

This was our 3rd visit to Bali and first time at the Padma Resort on Legian where we stayed for 14 days. The resort is beautiful and the gardens stunning. We loved the architecture of the place and our accommodation upstairs in a de luxe garden chalet ticked all the boxes. Very quiet, nicely furnished, great bathroom and large balcony. Service was impeccable and discreet at all times. Having breakfast whilst looking out on the tropical plants and flowers surrounding the large pond was the perfect way to start the day, followed by swimming and relaxing at the lagoon pool. The Padma is ideally located halfway between Kuta and Seminyak across from the beach and within easy walking distance of shopping and a wide variety of restaurants . We loved our stay at the Padma Resort and highly recommend it to those who are looking for a truly 5 star experience. We will certainly make it our preferred stay for future holidays in Bali.

Room Tip: Next time we would request a room overlooking the gardens with a view on the dragon structure, or al...

What a beautiful resort, really central and. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff a so friendly and helpful, the food is great.

To be honest, we found it hard to leave and see the rest of Bali. The perfect tropical base for exploring the island.

We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: We just had the Deluxe Room, plenty big enough with great amenities, save your money with this room...

Again really impressed with the Bail Padma, each time we stay there it gets better and better, not only does it have a great location right on the beach and great amenities, the staff are very well trained and provide excellent service. A bit crowded at breakfast if you go late, however even then the staff always managed well and customers always were well looked after. Pools are excellent and are well maintained, we went in peak season and it was crowded around the pool, however we always got a space and well served by the staff. For us the location is perfect due to the beach and is an easy walk to excellent restaurants in the area, although we ate in the hotel many times, which easily matched the quality outside the hotel. Overall another great stay at the Bali Padma Resort.

Room Tip: Go for the Deluxe Chalet

We used to stay at the Mandira but they've priced themselves out for us so we decided on the Padma as we really like the location (being right next to the beach, close to shops and restaurants but tucked away in a quiet spot). As I had stayed there years ago and also because we only needed one room (they allowed us to have our 2 small kids in 1 room with us) we thought we'd give it a crack and I'm so glad we did. The staff we dealt with before we left and while we were there were great. Nothing was too much bother and everyone was so friendly. The hotel was fantastic. The grounds were immaculate, the gardens beautiful and our kids loved both the pools. We had a ground floor garden view room which was very quiet, clean and very well presented. The included buffet breakfast had a massive assortment to chose from and the occasional meal and the drinks we had in the hotel were all really nice. We had a great time there and will definitely be going back.

First time at this resort and stayed 4 nights. We had booked a Garden club chalet. On our arrival we were greeted at the club lounge by a lovely man named April ( very good at his job ) we asked if we could have an upstairs room, sadly all booked out but he found one for us to go to the next day. We really didn't like the possition of the first room and we felt closed in, also a really unusual oil based paint smell and could hear people above us easily, at this stage not feeling very confident about the Padma. The next day we went to our new upstars room on the other side of the resort, closer to all conveniences and over looking the beautiful gardens, it had a completely different feel about it and now we are likeing the Padma.
Breakfast at club lounge was top class, fantastic range and no crowds, afternoon tea was average, a selection of cheeses and cake and a great selction of food for evening cocktails, wine, bailys etc. Service was great everywhere. We would recomend the Padma unless you don't like large resorts. loved it being close to the shops and on the ocean front.

Room Tip: We definately liked upstairs or lagoon rooms looked good to.

An excellent resort deserving a 5+ star rating. Room was beautifully, clean, comfortable with all the extras to add. Breakfast was a feast, perfect for the big eater.. great choices and cuppacino and latte to die for. Service was impeccable. staff are so efficient and friendly. Pool areas are lovely and big, not overcrowded. Dining area had a feel of softness and coziness with the dim lights and light music in the background. Food was as nice as the top restaurants that we dined in along the water front. Highly recommend the Padma to anyone who wishes to experience 5 star accommodation. Along with our companions we will certainly be revisiting the Padma Resort next trip. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
