“Beautiful Padma”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

Just returned from Padma Resort Legian. I cannot fault the Padma! Just returned from 7 nights in a Deluxe Chalet. From the first minute the Padma impressed. The grand foyer at arrival, very friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous gardens and grounds. The room was spotless, linen and towels changed each day, king bed comfy and pillow menu. Breakfast daily between 630-1030am was amazing and great variety to suit everyone. Fresh juices and cappacinos included. For coffee lovers, the best coffee is from the deli cafe near reception. You can get a great coffee and cake or macaroon for about $4.00. The pools are amazing and clean. The lagoon pool is huge and a bit quieter for adults. The resort was at full capacity but it never seemed over crowded or noisy. Very peaceful, great poolside service for food and drinks. Sunset bar overlooking beach at 6 pm each night was gorgeous. Lots of comfy lounges and daybeds to relax. I reccomend the Cosmic Colada cocktails at sunset, yummy! Very beautiful resort, definitely 5 star. Very good location on beach and close to all the shops. I reccomend day spa close by called Ambience, cheap and extremely good but book ahead. Day spa at Padma expensive as most 5 star resort days spas are. Padma have a departure lounge which have showers with toiletries, steam room and sauna. Towels, water and tea and coffee all free. Ask for late check out until 2pm and then use departure lounge. Would reccomend for couples and families. We will definitely return with our kids next time. Don't take any notice of negative reports, I didn't see any "bogans" at pool bar as I had read about. Cannot fault the Padma, very impressed best resort I've stayed at in Bali.

Room Tip: For couples ask for deluxe chalet second level as it has a private balcony. Lagoon access rooms loo...

Getting around in Bali can be a nightmare with crazy traffic. This hotel is a fabulous place to stay with good rooms and great service. The breakfast buffet spread is awesome with something new everyday.
The swim up bar is a fun place to hang out with the friends we were with.
The best nightlife is just a short walk down the beach and further on you can also get to Kudeta and potatohead.
Enjoyed every mnute at this hotel and would definitely go back.

Room Tip: If you are in a group with friends ask for the pool view room. For a quieter stay ask for the garde...

This resort is amazing and huge.
2 amazing large pools. Lots of activities for children, very centrally located to airport, eateries, markets, spa and massage centres etc.
Beautiful tropical gardens. Fantastic breakfast buffet and cafe. Live music. Sunset bar overlooks the beach. Cheap surf board and assistant hire on the beach as well as massages and cold drinks.

2 adults/2 late teens. Adjoining rooms, thank you. We live in HK, have visited 7 countries in Asia and this is voted our best hotel so far. Beautiful resort, attentive lovely staff, fab clean luxurious rooms, beautiful manicured grounds with lovely artwork sculptures, great facilities - even to provide a "departure lounge" (showers/towels/free coffee tea/newspapers) when we checked out, but still had 4 hours to kill.. The only thing is the dangerous beach is for SURF ONLY, but we knew this. Truly, can't think of a single fault..... and we are hotel snobs! Definitely would thoroughly recommend this resort for young and old alike. However, Bali traffic is a nightmare and you are a little out of the way here, so taxis are negotiable later in the evening and not on a meter :(.... but we would stay here again. Rooms? Anything from 100-400 is in a 4-floor tower block in a jungle. Rooms 500-600 are like duplex chalets. They are also building a pool in the jungle, but the building work is really quiet.

Room Tip: Rooms 100-400 in a 4-floor tower block with jungle views. Choose rooms 500-600 for a duplex style s...

We stayed a week at the Padma with our kids. The grounds were amazing, the staff very friendly and the breakfast buffet was awesome. The rooms were nice but probably a little drab. The kids loved kids club and all the Koi fish. Overall we had a great time. We didn't want to leave.

Just had 9 nights at this beautiful resort. The buffet breakfast was so big that there was always something different to have every morning. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms clean, gardens and pools fantastic. Will definitely go back.
A special mention to Dewi in the Deli Cafe and Jun in the Pool Bar, just two of the many beautiful staff. Thankyou for making our holiday a memorable one.

Room Tip: Any room within the resort is a good room.
