We stayed in early August 2014 and had a fantastic time at the Padma, the staff are attentive and incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast is fantastic and sets you up for the day, the room (Deluxe Chalet) was big enough for us and a travel cot for our 2 1/2 year old (provided at no extra charge along with a requested microwave for milk etc). In fact everything was just right with the hotel, although a lot of guests at this time of year it was only on rare occasion that it felt busy (peak hours at the pool in early afternoon). Look forward to going back!

We stayed here for 7 days, then went to our son's wedding for 3 nights, then decided to return for another 3 nights. We actually extended our holiday, as we loved this place so much.
This is an amazing resort with everything that anyone would want in a property.
The staff were amazing, the restaurants fabulous especially the Teppanyaki and also the Club facilities.
We will certainly be returning, as this was the best holiday ever.
The rooms were roomy. We stayed in a Garden Club chalet room, then the last 3 days in a lagoon view room.
We loved everything about the place.

Room Tip: We were in room 533 which was ground floor and especially quiet. Room 219 - lagoon view room great...

Had a wonderful week again at the Padma, excellent staff, location perfect for Legian bars and restaurants, the rooms are lovely and the best breakfast in Bali! We were celebrating my birthday and received an upgraded room and a surprise birthday cake. Just my favourite place to stay would reccommend to anyone.

Well, they have a greaaaat pool, and huge one. Easy access to nearest beach, a lot of restaurant inside, good ambience, nice breakfast, nice room

But,

They always have a miscommunication among the staf. First, this is my first resort that giving a breakfast based on how many person that registered at first, altough that when check in, I am already register that it will have 2 person in the room. reception said it is oke because we have a free breakfast for 2 people. So we've got a little bit shock that when we want to get some breakfast, they said that hotel will only gave 1 voucher and the others have to pay it. Ok,... And I am went to reception and get clear of this... (Still waiting for the result)

Almost half of the staff quite not competed and they couldn't speak english clearly. When I observe it, they have really young staff and I think it is a newbie one.

They give a long waiting when we want to check in and they still dont know about the direction or room at the hotel. Well I know that this Hotel had a renovation recently but it is a huge hotel and a lot of people get lost especially at night.

But i like staff at boutique. They really friendly and give me all the detail about bali fabric like songket and ende (i dont know how to write it) and Love the spa .

Well this is quite expensive hotel one and they have a great facilities but they still trying to clear all the miscommunication problem .

It didnt compare to our stay last year. As a late booking we paid $235 per night for a family room with 2 twin beds pushed together and had an adjoining door to the next room which was noisy. We booked out of the school holiday time to avoid too many children but the resort was full of young children and not very relaxing. Every day at 2.30pm they have children’s games in the main pool using a loud speaker for kids pool bingo and bombing competitions which were very noisy. Such a shame that this coincide with happy hour at the swim up bar. To escape the chaos we had to use sunbeds as far away from the pool as possible. Other guests who had been coming many years advised us they we unhappy with this also. The pool toilet and sunset bar was also under renovation with a makeshift lounge set up with the couches have now been set up on patch of dry soil near the toilets (pics attached) It felt very unloved - the couches are really grubby with stains on and not even set up during the day and mostly empty every night. On a positive note the Padma service and breakfast was outstanding certainly can’t fault these parts at all. The resort has many positives that we don’t want to detract from but it didn’t meet our expectations this year.

Room Tip: Rooms in block overlooking lagoon pool are noisier. Long corridors that echo every noise and close t...
