“Fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014

A group of us recently stayed here for a friend's 50th birthday and between us booked a deluxe room, a pool room and a suite. All of them were fantastic - clean, very spacious, great location to the beach and also the newish beach walk. My partner and I had the pool room and it was wonderful. The rooms were so quiet that you wouldn't even know there was other people at the hotel. We were even able to check in a little early which was much appreciated.

The staff were wonderful and while we were there for Neypi day it was no hardship to stay at the hotel for the day. My partner and I had a treatment in the hotel's Spa and while it was a little more pricey than some of the other places, it was wonderful. The staff were extremely professional and the treatment room superb.

The food at Mozzarella's was good and the two-for-one cocktails definitely appreciated ;)

Can't wait to return!!

Decided to stay back a short distance from the beach to save a few dollars this trip. Picked the magani, Room was a reasonable size, clean.like the idea of basin separate to bathroom. The wife can do the makeup thing leaving barhroom still available.Plenty of bars/restaurants nearby.we tended to dine in either Melasti st , garlic lane which is almost opposite or down in Padma st which.runs parallel with malesti st. This is our 4th trip so we had done most of the beach restaurants a couple of times on previous trips. Getting back to the Magani found the staff wonderful, all very friendly, willing to assist with any queries. We didn,t have breakfast so unable to comment. We dined in restaurant and was a lovely meal. Prices are competitive.Drinks around the pool only slightly dearer than at bars. Much cheaper than we have had at other resorts. Building is 5 story with pool in the centre so you do only get the sun for a few hours, still nice and warm .Had no problem getting a sun lounge and none of this token/signing for a towel

I can't remember how many times I have stayed in The Magani with my family.
This is our second home. It is really like coming home.
We have stayed in a lot of hotel in Bali ; Kuta side, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, & Seminyak. Most of them are 5 stars hotel & resort. Quite famous.
But since the opening of The Magani, we notice that we don't have to bother to find a good, nice, & comfortable hotel again. We have found The Magani.
THE STAFFS... are really well trained. From the front desk, in the resto, at the pool bar, even the cleaning service staffs. They know how to recognize their guests, they greet you with your name, they can make you feel that you are mostly welcome.
Fantastic.
Only one tiny spot about the hotel that has to be improved. The WIFI. Quite lousy.
Overall, excellent.

Room Tip: Two thumbs for Deluxe Suites

We stayed at The Magani for the 5th time in March and it was like coming home. The staff are never cease to amaze us with their welcome and genuine pleasure that we have come back. They had all our rooms ready despite a complicated booking with different family members arriving on three separate days and even had our favourite rooms for us.
Our kids had requested we try a new hotel for some of our trip this year and so reluctantly my husband and I split our time with a week at The Magani and a week at The Stones but when the time came to leave The Magani we were all wanting to stay and our kids actually came back every day for the massages and to see Heri at the pool and Wayan!
We did have one small problem this trip but it was handled as soon as we brought it to the managers attention and we were given an upgrade to The Magani suite not just for my husband and I but also for my daughter and her partner which was amazing and we will probably book it again next trip as they have a wifi booster in the suites which my husband loved!
We return here so often because of the amazing staff they have here. Wayan is one of the nicest young men we have met in Bali and he knows all our likes and makes sure we are looked after. Aris, what a lovely young woman she is! Heri makes pool time extra special fun and our kids loved spending time at the bar testing his skills! Darma and his team at reception are wonderful and make sure we are looked after with taxis both coming and going, checking we have everything on exiting or getting cars for us.
I cannot rate The Magani more highly as the best hotel in Legian.

The only thing I would request they change is maybe some softer pillows! Or have an option of pillow choice?

Room Tip: If Wifi is important then spend the extra money and get a Magani Suite as they have their own booste...

Quite comfortable stay - I had to stay at this hotel all day on Nyepi Day (Silent Day). The staff gave us detailed instructions in advance. Food was great, room service was fast, staff were friendly and efficient. I appreciated for all staff who worked for guests & served us on this important national holiday. Only one thing I had to say was about the bathroom. The small window glass was kept covering by carbon papers from the balcony side, probably it was too visible other guests and staff can see inside, and also the bathroom was a bit smelly, need odor eliminator.

Based on tripadvisor reviews I made a snap decision to rebook from a hotel i was familiar with to try this one. It was an excellent decision.

I got a brilliant room, with lots of space and a private courtyard. All the hotel is new, clean and well maintained. My room was also quiet and very peaceful.

Internet (WIFI) had very good reception, even in a room at the back of the hotel.

The staff were very pleasant and friendly.

Location isnt right on the beach, ~150m walk down Jalan Melasti to the beach. In itself the hotel is easy to get too, and centrally located for both Kuta and Seminyak.

Absolutely well worth it, this was brilliant

Room Tip: ask for what you want when you book, i did and they were able to do it for me.

Very accommodating staff, great buffet breakfasts AND they do latte's for no extra cost. Very clean and tidy rooms. Very roomy, very quiet. Pool in the middle of the complex a bit uncomfortable as everyone has the opportunity to look at you from their rooms
