We only had breakfast at the Stones and if you can forget the cost RP 280000+++ per person it is worth a visit just for the experience. But once only.
Service is 6 star , Food is mostly 5 star but Indonesian food was poor (maybe just a off day)
Breads and pastries cooked fresh on site daily ,juice prepared on the spot with fresh fruit.
Waffels and pancakes cooked by request (but also in warmer) Ice cream made as well on site .
But as I said its not value for money but a great experience on the trip . For A$ 33 per person its very expensive for Bali
Would do again but only as a treat on the next trip

For Club Marriot members its 50% discount but they do not accept vouchers for free breakfast nor any other discount via membership .

Thank you very much for your Trip Advisor review.

It’s delightful to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast and we really appreciate your insights on the breakfast offerings. The feedback on the Indonesia food will be looked into by the Food and Beverage team and we thank you for that.

With regards to the Club Marriott discount that you highlighted, the 50% discount only applies to the Club Marriott member and 1 other guest; which are 2 persons dining together. There are different discount ranges and this is based very much on the number of guests that the Club Marriott member brings along. Should you wish to find out more, please kindly email me at feedback@stoneshotelbali.com.

Thank you once again for your review.

We went on a family holiday and booked 3 rooms. We were upgraded to a ground floor room with a plunge pool. I cant say enough about this hotel. The staff were first class and could not do enough for us. Food in the hotel was good and the locality of the Hotel was in a great location. Its such a beautiful hotel and the pool is enormous. I would not consider going to another hotel when going back to Bali.

Room Tip: rooms facing the pool are the best as the pool closes at 8pm and iits so quiet. They have another pool at the entrance of the hotel and that stays opened late and is away from the rooms with music and a bar.

Thank you very much for your Trip Advisor review.

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your Stones experience.

Our premium pool rooms which are the ones that you stayed in are very popular with our guests. The reason for this is that they loved the villa experience set in a modern hotel. We are glad that it added to your experience during the course of your stay.

Our 3000 square meters pool is opened from 0800hrs to 2000hrs. We are glad to hear that you found the rooms very quiet at night which is the main reason for the early closing time because we want to ensure that our guests in the pool view rooms can have a good night sleep during the course of their stay.

It’s also a real pleasure to hear that the hotel Talents, the location of the hotel and the Food and Beverage experience added to your stay. We certainly look forward to having you back with us again soon.

Thank you for your review.

I will start by saying, we didn't love Kuta. Too many people, too much traffic, the beach leaves a lot to be desired.

With that being said, the Stones was a WONDERFUL oasis in this part of the island. From check-in through check out, we were treated with great hospitality and professionalism. No matter where we were the staff was friendly and attentive.

Our room was a large suite style room with a balcony overlooking the pool. The balcony had the lovely addition of a soaking tub outside. One night I can back in to find the tub filled with flower petals. That and candlelight made for a relaxing evening. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. My only complaint. . .not enough drawer or closet space for our clothing and personal items.

We ate at the K-3 restaurant several times during our stay, The breakfast buffet was free for use as we are Marriott elite members, but it was otherwise expensive. However, the selection and quality of food was amazing. Several different ethnic stations to please any palette. Dinners were tasty as well. Price higher than many local restaurants, but good quality, great service and nice to not leave the hotel when we were tired after a day of touring.

The pool area was relaxing and well kept. Once again, The Stones, had those little additional touches that made our stay feel more sumptuous. Each evening there was live entertainment in the pool area just near the bar and restaurant. A nice variety of excellent quality entertainment from Balinese fire dancing to acoustic Jazz.

Kudos to the Stones management for making there hotel an great oasis in the chaos that is Kuta.

Room Tip: Room types vary considerably. If the hotel is not at full occupancy, as to see the different types to get what works best for you.

We have stayed many times in Bali and have tried lot's of differnt accommodation options. This trip we stayed at the Pullman, the legian Beach and the Stones.

The stones was head and shoulders above the other two. It is truly a 5 star hotel.

The security is tight ( there is a sniffer dog on the gate)....well a dog anyway!!

The lobby is airy and modern with Balinese touches. the staff are very, very helpful. The check in process is smooth, you were given towels and an icypole on check in . they took my wifes scissors off her which was a little over the top, but reassuring.

We were upgraded at checkin and shown to our room by the person checking us in, we checked in three hours early, which was not a problem.

The bags were taken to the room, the corridors to the room had deep plush carpets.

The room had every amenity you could wish for. It even had a pod coffee machine, with illy coffee, which was complimentary and refilled whenever needed as was water.

There is an i pod dock in the room and a cool alarm that projects the time onto the ceiling.....boy toy!!

The pool is huge, the sunloungers all have fresh towels on them, so no dramas booking towels in and out. The majority of the sunloungers are in the shallows of the pool, so when you step off the loungers you are in the water, sounds weird but it works OK. You get offered free fruit skerers around the pool and even get your sunglasses cleaned.

The grounds are quite small, because of the size of the pool, but it just works.

Most of the groundfloor rooms have a personal spa outside the room, which is OK but means you nowhere to sit out.

The first floor and above rooms have a bathtub and their balcony, this is a real miss, i bet none of them have ever been used, who is going to have a bath with the whole of the hotel watching.

The breakfast are the best we have had anywhere in the world. The buffet is massive and included, good quality smoked salmon, great cheeses. Huge pastries, ice creams!!, many different types of fresh bread that you cut yourself. you could order cappuccinos and other fresh coffees. the juices were proper juices and were freshly squeezed. They even had HP sauce. The only downside was the bacon was Turkey bacon.

Try this hotel you will not be dissapointed!!

We had some minor glitches with the room key, but that happens. they dealt with it pretty well.

Room Tip: try to avoid the groundfloor spa rooms, you have nowhere to sit outside.

Thank you very much for your Trip Advisor review.

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the Stones Experience.

The security setup that we have is based on the Marriott’s standards that are required for our properties in Indonesia. The sniffer dogs that we have are from the Bali’s Police Dog unit which are trained for detecting devices with detonating effects.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the hotel key moments and expressed it in details which was very delightful. Thank you.

We really look forward to having you back with us again.

Thank you for your review.
