Hotel was amazing and luxurious. We stayed 8 nights and was my first time staying in a 5 star hotel - loved it! It didn't even feel like we were in Bali. You cant hear any of the noise on the street. The hotel had everything you could want. The room was luxurious, even having a coffee machine in the room with free pods was great. Free bottles of water, we never had to buy any. The balcony view was lovely and even better with a bathtub on the balcony. When you walk into the room, you are entering the bathroom. Sounds strange but it wasn't an issue for us. The bathroom was huge, big showerhead too. Fluffy towels. The breakfast was the best ( the best in bali). I was having cappucino's and Latte's every morning at brekkie, gotta love that! The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. Pool service was excellent. They make a lovely mango lemongrass Sangria by the pool :) pool was lovely, huge. Had a nice hot spa in there too. We were there for ramadan and although there was a huge influx of people, they handled it really well. Smoking is allowed on the room balcony and also by the pool. Wifi was fantastic, log in once and you had it the whole week. The stones was a 17 minute walk to Matahari ( they need to fix the walkway on the beach road as it gets dark at night walking back to the hotel. The security is like nothing you have seen, it's actually like a mini customs, with conveyor belt so every time you come back to the hotel, you have to go through x ray . Was a pain but you get used to it. Makes you feel safe. But location of the hotel was great too. Would definately recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Pool view room is a must!

We stayed at the stones for one night upon arriving in Bali. Kuta is very busy, noisy and the beaches are packed and dirty. The hotel , however, was immaculately clean and very sterile. Rooms are nice, food is great and the staff is friendly and wonderful. Loved the bathtub on the balcony!

Here is a nice hotel, the location is fine, but make sure to go to the left on the beach there when you walk out of the hotel.. it's much nicer on that end. The specialty of this hotel, I would have to say was the bathtub on the balcony! It was a nice experience. The food was nice at the hotel, but there are also so many places to experience in the area. Make sure to get a room where the sun hits the balcony at least some hours of the day..

Room Tip: Ask for a room that gets some sun on the balcony if you like to sit out there and get some sun..

I loved this hotel and everything it had to offer. The pool facing suites with patios are beautiful and worth the upgrade. The hotel is right on the beach, a must have if you are going to Bali. The staff is amazing and their welcoming nature really makes this place the perfect vacation. Breakfast at the hotel is also amazing...I would definitely recommend.

i stayed for one night at this hotel, they have great design on swimming pool and lobby. They have small pool for jacuzzi which makes it eve better. Room was okay, modern design, comfy bed but not for their pillows ( should consider some upgrade ), separated shower chambers and toilets but they do not provide buth tub unless for swim pool view rooms ( consider to choose this room, bath tub is on balcony an dits only $500 price difference ). Locations bit at the end of Kuta beach so its bit far to access Hard Rock or Beachwalk.

Room Tip: Choose room with swim pool view, they have bath tub in balcony with beautiful view or on ground floo...

The Stones is a great hotel if you want to enjoy a resort hotel in the middle of Legian/Kuta There is a little confusion as to where it's location is - the locals insist it's in Kuta while hotel staff confirm it's Legian - either way it's the same hotel.

Walking into the spacious and ope air lobby, you get a good feel for the overall resort with it's large grounds and pool area. The resort is expansive with the biggest pool I have seen in Bali.
Staff are all very friendly and helpful and check-in is a breeze.

The rooms are well appointed but strangely set up with guests walking into the open plan bathroom and then into the room - a little odd. It also means that all your bathroom amenities etc are in plain sight of everyone and not closed away behind a bathroom door.

The large balcony is great with a bathtub - with a privacy screen and a wonderful view of the entire resort and pool.

The restaurant offers a wonderful breakfast with freshly squeezed juices you can request as well as the usual array o local and western cuisine. Staff are again very eager to be of service and very friendly. Many of the local wait staff are keen to know our name and where you're from.

The gym is open 24/7 and is well equipped and clean. The only down side is there's no view and the blinds are always closed.

The hotel is a short walk from all the hustle and bustle of the bars, shopping and local dining as well as right across from the beach - although the beach needs attention as there's lots of rubbish around.

If you want to stay in the Kuta/Legian area this is a great hotel and highly recommended.

Room Tip: All rooms have a balcony and overlook the pool.
