What a lovely place this is right opposite where we stayed at the Lokha Hotel in Padma Street it hasn't been open long but great food aussie wine entertainment :) will defiantly go there again next time we visit... We met the owner who is there most nights he gave my husband and I a free stubbie holder with his restaurant name and address on it... But a must is make sure you use there restrooms they gave me and the owner a laugh and a fright at the same time... See you next time :)

The band is the best thing about this restaurant.
The food was forgettable and tasteless, the drinks were not cold.
We would NOT return, previous reviewer very accurate.

Ate there with much regret, walked past, looked like it was the busiest place in a bunch of 5 or 6 eateries, so we thought we’d give it a try, not on our TA list of places but we were a bit further south on the cusp of Legian & Kuta. Menu looked good, nice variety of dishes, Indo, Thai & Western. The better half wanted the T-bone . . “Sorry, no T-bone tonight boss, try the special, rump with fettuccine.” So we opted for Snapper fillet & steamed rice (65,000 / $6.50) and the Pad Thai. Let’s start with the their version of Pad Thai, very thin rice vermicelli noodles, not the traditional flat rice noodles, 3 small prawns and some dried up tofu. No vegetables, no egg, no peanuts, no spices = no Pad Thai. It was if someone opened a packet of dry vermicelli noodles added the prawn, tofu and a bit of tomato sauce. The snapper fillet was the size of the two fingers, I’ve seen bigger entrée serves, the rice was cold, dry & crusty as if it’s been left out for some time and the poor fillet was covered in some disgusting salty creamy sauce, I have no idea what it was pretending to be accompanied with some soggy vegetables, including beans & a light green & white cauliflower. The large Bintang was served without the normal stubby holder and in 32C temp, you can imagine it doesn’t stay cold for long; it might have helped if it was icy cold to start with. So to sum it up, this was worse meal I’ve had not only in Bali, but I can’t remember being served something this bad before. I discovered it was “Happy Hour” . . the reason the place was busy, not the pulling power of the cook’s skill. The band was okay, another reason why there's patrons in the place.
