This place is located in the middle between Legian and Seminyak area, approximately only 5 minutes to the beach and entertainment center of Kuta and Seminyak, 5 minutes to airport . even in the middle of the bustle of Seminyak but i really love the ambience , very quiet, and make my feeling tranquil. the room is a shaped as studio duplex, very suitable for honeymooners or shared family. Before i go to the room i tried the signature dish of legian sunset residence 's prepared by the original chef from bali. hmmmm... amazing steak with affordable price can be enjoyed here and it was great and so yummie .i enjoy my steak with pool view is located right in the middle of the hotel's room makes me want to enjoy the cool water to wash my sweat during my trip.as long as stay at this hotel I was helped by the existing wi fi connection in the room, so fast connection internet , and I really recommend to tourists from everywhere who want to look for accomodation in bali, but want the luxury hotel experience with affordable budget .The legian sunset residence is the right choice. you can sleep soundly and will wake up happily

I spent new year's eve with the family there, it was a great experience for us. The 2 floors apartment really suits for family stay. It was tidy, clean and well designed. The large outdoor pool has nice quality. The hotel is strategically located in a remote place in Legian where it is near to go anywhere we want to. We are definitely going back there for family trip!

New building, with the cosy, dry (which is rare thing for Bali) two-story apartments. We staying here since the opening, and compare to average Bali accommodation, defenetely it has a potential. Of course it was a couple of issues in the beginning during they setup the team and orginize all, but now it looks more how it should be.
I have find manegment very responsive and hospitable. They are always open to our whims, such as adding a special TV channel or dedicated internet access. Somebody can say that everything is to slow, but don't forget - You are in Bali! And compare to Bali speed of things happening, believe me - it is fast.
The main aspect for us to stay here - safety. 24 hours security and during night time nobody can get inside without ID check and explanation. I was very impressed, when one of the guest forgot bag in taxi and was trying to find it, the manager said do not worry, cause they are recording all arriving and departing taxi numbers.
All rooms are facing inside to the swimming pool and sometimes it's a bit nosy from the short term guests. I hope, soon whole building will be switched and aimed to the weekly and monthly rental. Now they have only 3-rd floor for monthly rent.
The location is great! Close to everything, check google maps!
I'll definitely advise this place if i would be asked.

the condo have 2 floors ,a lot of space , a couch downstairs and a kitchen and upstairs a nice queen bed with a good size bathroom, the staff here is verry friendly, they even picked me up at the airport for free, there s a nice pool in the middle if you like swimming .theres nice tv channels with moovies in english.

i rented a scooter ,then called a man and he brought me the scooter at 4$/day for 1 week
its better to have your scooter in this area, its at 1.7 km from a nice beach called double 6 beach with nice restaurants like the cocoon (a restaurant/bar) with a large outdoor pool and confortable couches,Zak one of the owners is verry cool and helpful, as him for a vip pass to the bar the pyramid ,you will enter for free .
they offer breakfast from 8 to 10h30 am every day wich is good except the coffee that is quite strong and thick but for the price its a verry nice place .

We have been staying in this residence/hotel for a couple of months now, and we are very satisfied by the appartment, its size, the very nice staff, and overall the location. We think that it's very good value for money.
Though you can walk to the beach, (it's 1.7 km from the residence -check on Google Maps !-), you can take a taxi (call Bluebird ), that you can very easily call from the residence (and the taxi fare will cost you USD 2), or, if you can drive, rent a motorbike.
Restaurants, bars and clubs around can be reached as easily, in "jalan 66" [Jalan Arjuna] or in "Jalan Dyana Pura" [Jalan Abimayu], or further east or west... you are really in Legian, between Kuta and Seminyak, the busy South of Bali.
It is not so far also from Jalan Sunset, so going away to the airport, or to other parts of Bali, is easy from here.
The residence is around 150 m from a main street, so it's quiet.
As for the cleaning, the arrival of Mr Bon has brought here more professionalism, but I think the team is improving regularly.
And whatever, there was no problem that could not be solved, fast, with always a nice smile. Like water going out of the shower : they adapted the shower curtains and applied silicon between the wall and the glass.

My wife and I stayed here for a month from Dec-Jan. The rooms are lovely and spacious. As Catherine L mentioned in the previous review the housekeeping is definitely poor and this got to me after the first week of staying here.

We had sat down and spoke to Zack about our dissatisfaction and nothing came out of it, all we got was a lot of hot air. if anything the service just got worst after we had spoken to him. I then wrote an email to him and CC'd their Operations Manager Victoria about this matter, and neither one of them had the decency to respond to my e-mail. They would also avoid us when they saw us in the lobby and tell their staff to tell us they were busy when we would ask to speak with them. I then decided to take action myself and spoke to the very young and inexperienced housekeeping team about cleaning standards.

I had to explain to them the concept of cleaning using soap and water, they were mopping the floors with just water and a filthy mop! (No wonder why the floors stank). And how to clear cob webs and dirt behind our seating area (which when we arrived there were cockroach eggs under the couch and a big fat mamma roach lingering around) which we discovered once we found mamma roach running under the couch to hide. When I moved that sofa I was so disgusted and shocked to see that filth in a hotel that just opened SEPTEMBER 2013!!.

A week later we got a new housekeeping attendant by the name of Bon who did a fantastic job each time he cleaned our room. You could tell when it was his day off because the room didn't look half as good without his TLC.

Other notable employees include Front Desk associates Pras and Mutiara. Wonderful employees who were always available with a friendly smile and tried their best to handle matters professionally. Every other employee just stood around and did absolutely nothing except just smile and show their teeth and say "yes yes yes" (even when they didn't understand a single thing you just said to them) and hide around the corridors with their cell phones to play games and chat. Or they would sit in the break room (which was 2 doors down from us) being so loud and disruptive in the early hours of the morning.

In all, this is a beautiful property with plenty of potential, but if left in the hands of Zack and Victoria this beautiful new building is going to turn into a wasted investment, fast. The owners of this property need to do a major shake up of who they have running this property to get the most out of this place.

Room Tip: Check to see if A/C's and toilets are leaking (ours were). Avoid corner units which have an obs...

Not a good review i'm afraid - we arrived at 10:30pm after travelling for 13 hours and the room wasn't ready. The staff are friendly but not professional or helpful and lack customer service and communication skills. There isn't a restaurant at this hotel and it's in a location where there is nothing nearby so this proved to be a problem as you can't book taxis. The room was ok but the bathroom door locked me out if I shut the door. My friends shower leaked about an inch thick all over the bathroom floor - and the stairs don't have a balustrade.....a lot of OH&S issues here. The housekeeping was poor and the "buffet breakfast" was Asian food with toast and limited fruit and only opened at 8am if you were lucky. My daughter slipped over quite badly in the breakfast area due to a lot of water on the floor, which they didn't seem to care about. The pool was ok but nowhere to sit around it and you couldn't buy drinks or anything. The rooms all open onto the pool and reception so there was a lot of noise whilst trying to sleep. I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
