We have stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions now. First in June 2011 as family and 2nd time as a couple.
Its very good value for money. Huge rooms and very clean. You do need to let the hot water run for a while before you take a shower.
Breakfast is cooked to order. Not the best breakfast we have had in bali but for the price sufficent.
The location is fantastic. The pool is slate and others have commented on colour however during both our stays its been super clean and refreshing. The new swim up bar is a welcome addition. I wouldnt recommend this hotel if all you wanted to do on your trip was laze around the pool but if you want a cheap clean place to stay as a base to explore the isle of smiles this hotel is perfect.
Drops restaurant has good food also.
We will definately stay at this hotel again and again

Room Tip: Ask for room at back and you wont hear any street noise.

Just arrived home today from a 9 night stay at the Casa Padma. 9 People in our group including 4 children (12 to 17). This is my 4th trip to Bali and I have stayed in some of the 'top' hotels. The Casa Padma is a perfect location although does get some traffic noise. We had several standard rooms along with a deluxe suite with 2 king beds. The suite was fantastic, large, clean and good bathroom. The standard rooms are a very good size BUT the bathrooms are tinny. Im talking about 1 metre square shower. In saying this, it was fine if you want clean, good sized room with good a/c and at around $45au per night, including breakfast for 2, it is GREAT value. Breakfast in adequate, nothing fancy but its ok. Pool area is pretty good, not huge but this is a small hotel so its fine. Staff are friendly and helpful although not the best Ive had. Overall, a great stay and happy to recommend it, remembering, this is Bali.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the Hotel or go for a suite if you want a bit more.

I was there in October, 2011 (see previous review) for 2 stays and then again in December, 2011 for 2 separate stays and most recently in February, 2012 for another 2 stays.

Each time, one stay on the way in thru Denpasar and one stay on the way back out.

It is an easy decision - I just email them and say I want these particular bookings and the bookings lady emails me back saying it is all OK. But, make sure you book ahead because they can be booked out.

It is a great location and they have wifi and the room service is great and it's all quite good.

If you want a flashy 5-star resort then go to the south to Jimbaran Bay area. But if you want convenience and location then go here.

In October 2011 we stayed there for a night before going to Lovina for 4 nights and then back to Casa Padma Suites for 2 nights.

In December, 2011 I stayed there for a night then I went to Lombok for 3 nights (the Holiday Resort Lombok at Manggsit Beach is beautiful) then I came back to Casa Padma Suites for 3 nights.

In February, 2012 I stayed at Casa Padma Suites for a night then at Lombok for 4 nights and then back to Casa Padma Suites for 2 nights.

The Casa Padma Suites are affordable and the people who work there are always nice and friendly and remember me. I spoke to the drivers about the regular guests. They get guests who stay there for a month or even 3 months on business.

There is a huge amount to do with your time in the Kuta/Legian/Seminyak area. It is mostly to do with shopping and eating though, for me. I like to have the first night in Legian and then go to either Lovina or Lombok or somewhere and then have a couple of days back in Legian to do some shopping/eating, on the way back home.

The beach is quite near the Casa Padma Suites - it's less than ten minutes walk away. If you rent a motor scooter you can park it there no problem. The guard looks out for it for you.

You can get a cab from there to Kuta or Seminyak or arrange a day tour to Ubud, etcetara. Legian is really well located.

I go to the Matahari Shopping Centre in Kuta every day to buy the fresh vege/fruit juices and you can buy wines there at competitive prices as well, and many other items. It's about Rp20,000 taxi ride to there and takes about 15 minutes. You will go past many places of interest along the way of that cab ride.

When you are finally leaving Bali, allow 45 minutes to the Airport. The Casa Padma Suites drivers know all about the time it takes to the Airport and will take you there as efficiently as they can. It is a good practice to tip the drivers there. And also talk to them for information. They are nice.

Room Tip: Choose a Superior Suite and make sure to eat at Drops Resto - the Choc Cake is really nice I use th...

Friendly staff, huge rooms. A bit pricey for Bali and a few dirty things but if you can overlook that it's pretty good.

Breakfast not worth getting up for but should be looked upon as a bonus. Pool although green in color (the tiles are green) is very clean and was attended to each evening. Deluxe room 308 has what appears to be the only balcony and worth the trip up the stairs passed the damp corridor. Room spacious, clean with all usual amenities with room safe and mini bar. Overall terrific location as walking distance to Kuta and Seminyak. Busy road but not obvious in the hotel. Good value.

This small new modern hotel is fantastic. First of all the staff are very welcoming and will do everything in there power to please and satisfy you and your holiday experience. They are polite courteous and well mannered. Never missed a wakeup call and great service at breakfast. Breakfast is average to be honest though ( the food). Hotel is close to pubs and legion shopping markets is up the next street over. Easy to get bluebird taxi and it costs 15,000RP to get to matahari central kuta. Rooms are very clean and modern, bed is comfortable , tv is large and LCD and has great channels. Laundry service around the corner or available at the hotel. Pool is clean and well maintained and not crowded!! Exchange rate was the bestthis trip 9,675RP per dollar. Overall I will be back here is April when I'm 29 weeks pregnant and find this hotel the best i have stayed in yet and for the price it's really ubeatable deal :)

Room Tip: Ground floor is great but second floor is up one set of stairs only and second floor was manageable...

Stayed in a Superior Suite here on the 2nd floor with a group of friends last week. Love the location! Loved the food! The pool bar was a bit exy and the stools were dodgey. We got an airport transfer both ways included and was much appreciated.

The staff were lovely. The only drama was when we went to get into bed, the sheets had dirty stains on them. Saying that, the reception sent someone straight up (12:30 at night) to re-make the bed so it was all well. This is a cheap 3 star place so don't expect it to be pristine clean, the bathroom needed a jolly good bleach/scrub as well. Apart from that, I would stay here again because of the location and price and friendliness of the staff. And the food - satays for tea and banana fritters for dessert rock!
