Another great stay in this lovely hotel to see in the New Year.It might not be a 5 star hotel but it gives 5 star service. Its location in Legian gives you access to everything without the hustle and bustle of Kuta or the expense of Seminyak. You can shop within metres of the front door, enjoy fantastic meals and service at Mozzarellas, live bands at the Capil Restaurant directly out the front or if a game of pool is what you desire then head down to the Legian Hotel. Mini marts are close by if you require water or food and other services like banks and chemists are easily reached. Rooms are spacious if you book downstairs pool side and the staff look after you with pleasure, it isn't a chore. Thanks Lokha this is the second time in three years we have stayed with you and we weren't disappointed in our choice to stay again,

Room Tip: Pick ground floor pool side

Stayed at the Lokha Legian for 7 days over New Years 2013-2014. Upon entering our room we were highly disappointed to say the least. Rooms have a lot of cosmetic wear, fittings and fixtures are knackered, shower sprayed everywhere bullnose marble bath shelf splitting and visible mold under it, the safe is tiny, a/c and tv were good! The breakfast was poor.
The staff were pleasant however.
Both my partner and I were also violently I'll and I still am 6 days on after eating a margarita pizza which is part of the hotel (Serpinos pizza) . Just about ruined our holiday, and we learnt of 5 others in the hotel who had fallen Ill from there pizzas from the same place!
3 star hotel at best, superb location but consider others and do your homework to avoid disappointment!

Intimate hotel with only 43 rooms, family and couples resort, no loud parties here. All rooms are built around a lovely pool, all with pool view. Rooms are clean, little bit of wear and tear but not dirty or smelly, beds are massive could easily fit 3 people! Bath in our room which is nice, full tv channels, safe, bar fridge etc. Small but gorg spa with awesome packages. Breakfast basic but again small intimate restaurant, fresh cooked eggs yummy. Lots of room to lounge around at this resort, pull up a chair and cushion and relax with a cocktail from the swim up pool. Kick back on a dedck chair by the pool, lovely gardens also. Great pizza rest at this resort too. Money exchange onsite is fab rate with no fees. We paid $120 per night inc breakfast which we thought was so cheap at xmas. Great location, turn right out of hotel and beach 5 mins, turn left and indo rest and mozzarella rest across road, fab food, clean, cheap and safe. About 5 mins from kuta. Overall a good safe option for families, affordable, service so nice and close to everything. If you want a huge happening resort this isnt the plave for you, if you want boutique style, quieter and not overcrowded this is a little gem.

We stayed at the Lokha for 9 nights with a large group of friends from our university, and we had an amazing time! The hotel itself is located basically in the centre of Legian with a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Kuta is about a 20 minute walk along the beach, or a 5 minute taxi ride (which should cost you about $1 AUD on the meter), and Seminyak about the same. Shopping can be a little hectic in the area around the hotel though.

Rooms were wonderful - the beds were comfortable and spotless, and the bathrooms were also very clean and well maintained. The air conditioning in our room was amazing - so quiet and efficient that we barely noticed it when sleeping and never woke up with the "dry throat" often associated with sleeping in high air con overnight. The staff were wonderful and very friendly - although they still insisted on cleaning our room when I was sick with the "Do not disturb" sign on the door.

The restaurant isn't to bad and the buffet breakfast is quite good as well. Great pool area with 2 pools and a poolside bar, which is open to about 9pm. Also, the spa at the hotel is a little expensive in comparison to surrounding salons, but the staff are wonderful and highly skilled (had a great manicure there!) so its worth the extra $2!

Room Tip: Get rooms in the western wing of the building - its further from the main street and so is a little...

We stayed at the Lokha in Nov 13, between retreats. The staff where most helpful, nothing was a drama for them (needing an extra bed in the room, getting extra airport pick ups and drop off organised).
The pool and pool bar are fabulously centrally located.
The food at the restaurant was great as well :)
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, short stroll to the beach, and nightlife

Nice, comfortable hotel. Staff friendly, and layout is simple and effective.
The pool bar closes as 730pm, so although a few can be in there during the day, it quietens down in the evening.
Their is only one lift, on the side furthest from the ocean. So suggest near that side if you dont like stairs. I would go higher, although some have said poolside rooms are good, they lack a bit of privacy as everyone can walk past.
Breakfast is average, little selection. There are some good places nearby.
Pizza downstairs is fantastic, and saturday is two for one.
Room is comfortable. We were on the roadside, their was reports about the bar across the road, agree, but its not open all that late, generally finished before midnight. The bikes start down the street at about 5am which was more annoying. So would suggest the non ocean side, and not road facing for room preference.

We stayed last June it was great. We had a double room on the third floor which was quite a trek up the stairs everytime you needed to go up and down. i highly recommend getting a ground floor room around the pool for the extra money.
The room was modern, clean and comfortable beds.
The staff were always helpfull and kind. The pool area was good and pool bar awesome.

Loved the location, if you like to get out of the hustle and bustle of Kuta this is the place for you! it is straight across from Mozzarella and Indo-national restruants yum!! Billys Bar is around the corner and the Lady Boy Bar! which has shows on good fun to see.

This hotel is great for any type of traveller

Room Tip: Ground floor Rooms are best
