We stayed at Baleka in March this year for 4 nights. The deluxe poolside room was quite ok, comfy bed, good size bathroom and everything was very clean (and kept that way too). Unfortunately at the time there was a gap between the 2 front sliding doors and we had a few mozzies make their way into the room, not a major problem as we sprayed the room every night (& do this for all our accommodation in Bali anyway).

The staff were lovely, reception, groundsmen, maids, bar staff........very helpful with mostly good comprehension of English which was great.

Ok, the breakfast........not the best but what you expect to get in Bali with a buffet (eggs were great tho). We ate it quite happily.

Location was very, very good, close to all the places we wanted to go to and taksi's available every time you walked out the door should you wish to travel further afield.

I would recommend Baleka as we had a great stay but there are so many more venues to visit and we will probably stay at different places in the future, as we love to try new things.

Our aim is to cater for a satisfaction of travelers. State to the commitment to ensure customer perceive, satisfaction and expectation for the long term in the future, we are sorry your holiday being disturb by the upgrading project. Of course, no one like to be faced but Baleka have to be re-born as a standard hotel for your convenience as a home while you are away from home.

After this upgrading project scheduled to be finished on the end of July this year, it would be stopped until the end of this year and plan to be continued in the middle of January 2015 for another Classic room near the temple. The hotel’s facilities are open as usual, the project location will be away from swimming pool and will be managed carefully to not obstruct the enjoyment of guests and to be screened to avoid any disturbance.

We always noted and learn from your comment and suggestion to make even a single thing better in the future.

We stayed in a deluxe room near the pool which we found very spacious & clean.The buffet breakfast is just awesome with a good variety of cereal,fruit,cakes & of course bacon egg & sausage.All the staff are friendly,happy people where nothing was too much trouble for them.Great position close to everything.Will definitely come back to Baleka Resort again,thank you Tony & all your staff

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms close to pool & buffet easy access to street.

Good value hotel - has most facilities that could be required
good sized rooms
current building works detract from visual appearance
close to shopping-money changers & restaurants
plenty of Taxis pass by
May is a good time as weather is very comfortable
A/C in our room seemed undersized for area

Room Tip: we had a room on Gnd flr opposite the swimming pool

We had no idea what the accommodation was to be like but were very happy with not only the accommodation but also the service provided which was excellent. There is a bit of building works going on but you end up being so relaxed that it did not bother us. Once completed would give five stars.
Advice I would give to any intended visitors is to if booked near the pool make sure it is numbers 254 and on. We were initially in 253, which was provided to us as an upgrade, and unfortunately it is just above the pool and it gets pretty loud at night with other people drinking around and in the pool. The pool is roped off at eight but this did not stop a number of very loud and most likely drunk females getting into the pool. The manager was very polite and moved us to 257 which apart from minor expected noises was excellent. There are other rooms near gardens which may even be better. Breakfast was part of the deal and was quite good and compares favourably with other hotels and restaurants. It is a bali breakfast. The cleaning of the rooms etc is excellent with a lot of staff available to look after your needs. Transport from the airport was in a very clean and newish car with the driver holding up a large sign with your name on it very easy to spot.
The location is very good for taxis, beach and restaurants.
Extremely great value for money and we are planning to return next year with all of the family.

Room Tip: As I said unless you are a large family wanting a lot of rooms together and you can keep the noise down try and stay away from the rooms directly opposite the pool. Level three may be ok.

Breakfast was average to the point I had toast everyday. The upstairs room I originally had the air con didn't work and toilet didn't flush but I was quickly moved to a poolside room which was great. Staff were friendly and very accomodating.
